Countdown to the New Year: Highlight #5
After a long and storied career, our Adler sewing machines retired from our main production line this year. In their place, two Juki LU-2810-7s. The differences are startling in the overlapping pictures of just how large and powerful the new machines are compared to the Adlers. In talking about the differences, lead sewer Kari talked about the extra size allowing greater space to work on sled bags. Also, the new machines allow for an easier adjustment of stitch length, have a walking foot with adjustable step height makes for easier use of thick materials like foam, an auto trimming feature for thread, and auto back tacking all set the new machines apart. We look forward to making all our made-in-ely products on these Jukis for years to come.
