Brittney's Traveling Pet Service Update!

Life throws us curveballs sometimes, and mine just came in the form of a personal change. Many of you know that Nate and I have been working together at Brittney's Traveling Pet Service, and unfortunately, we've recently decided to go our separate ways.

This doesn't mean the end of getting your pups pampered though! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be welcoming two amazing new employees to the team: Kelly and Jaedyn! They're both eager to meet all of your furry friends and bring their love of animals to Brittney's Traveling Pet Service.

As with any new beginnings, there will be an adjustment period. While I train them on the ins and outs of the business and we work out the scheduling kinks, there might be a few bumps in the road. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this exciting (and sometimes messy!) transition.

I'm confident that with a little time, we'll be back to our smooth-running operation, showering your pups with the same love and top-notch grooming they've come to expect. I'm fact, I believe it will running smoother than ever with the extra help of adding in a third person!

Also to add, I have been on my own the past week or so. With the extra physical demands and work that I'm used to splitting with a partner, it has taken a bit of a toll on me and has caused me to take longer at some appointments and work later hours than my typical already late hours! This has caused me to get behind in messaging everyone back and getting some rescheduled as I hit some bumps in the road along the way. Getting home so late has prevented me from being able to reply back to everyone at an appropriate time of day, and I didn't want to be rude and text anyone late. I would usually address messages in between appointments while in the car with Nate driving. I've had to drive to the majority of my appointments and lost that time to attend to my messages.

So I have a huge favor to ask to make things a lot easier for me of you don't mind. If you are wanting an appointment or are waiting to have your appointment rescheduled still, please send me another text tomorrow so that everyone waiting will be at the top of messages and easier for me to find, instead of searching through everyone.

I would greatly and truly appreciate if you could do that small favor for me so I can get you in as soon as possible! Thank you so much!!

I look forward to these new beginnings and not only will things be changing for the better as I try and add in some new things to the business, along with new employees, but I think these changes will make things run even better than they did in the very beginning! I am so excited for everything to be back on track and the continued love and care I offer your beloved pets!!!

All my clients (yes that's you 😉) are Rockstars and I couldn't love and appreciate you more than I already do. Yall are my grooming family, as I try to do business with a personal touch different from a lot of other places that keep things strictly on a professional basis only. I have the belief that as your groomer you are entrusting me with your fur children, and to do so there must be not only trust, but a relationship between you and I as well as your pet and I. I couldn't be happier running my business that way. I brag about how my clients are the best to absolutely anyone and everyone that will listen to me. 😆🥰 Yall deserve to be recognized because of how amazing you are again, I truly appreciate you!

I know I specifically have spots available in Columbia station, olmsted falls and around that area. Lorain, amherst, elyria as well as sheffield village and sheffield lake.
Sheffield is in the morning. Lorain and amherst are in the afternoon. Olmsted and Columbia are in the middle of the day, late afternoon. And elyria depends on where you're at.

If there is anyone in eastern heights area, or close to it, in elyria that wants a grooming done tonight I am willing to do a late groom. Maybe you work during the week and have a hard time getting your dog groomed during normal hours, I'd be happy to help and am considering doing a late night for grooming every once in awhile.

Grooming can be a haircut grooming or what we call a bath and brush grooming which is a bath, blow out, brush out, nail trim, ears cleaned, pads and privates shaved if needed, light trimming if needed and glands upon request.

I am back up and moving feeling much better now! I still have some nail trim spots to fill for tomorrow too! Ive noticed there's been a lot of people that I've messaged back after they contacted me first, and they have not replied and I really think a lot of people are still not getting my messages. So please if you don't hear from me try again..I'm working with Verizon to fix these issues. I've got a new phone, updated the plan, the whole works. If these issues are still continuing over the next couple of weeks I will give them back their phone and go somewhere else. But I wanted to make sure yall know to please just try again if you don't hear from me because it does seem like if you do multiple messages they do come through. I'm sure yall are just aa frustrated about this as me!! I can assure you I am getting tired of it and made sure to pass along my feelings to verizon. 😁

I got a new phone today and updated my plans trying to fix the issues that I've been having with my messaging. Well the new phone is getting extremely hot, so I shut it off. It did go through an hour of transferring so hopefully it's just that but with my luck, who knows. That is on my business line so for tonight I won't be able to contact anyone back I just wanted to give a heads up about it in case there's more issues tomorrow. I'll keep you updated on this page though.

My client is moving and this is the last piece of furniture she has to get rid of. At this point it's free, you just have to pick it up before Tuesday. It is solid and heavy. One piece. If no one wants it, it will be going to habitat for humanity. You can message Judy L. Martin if interested!!!

Hello everyone. These frustrating phone issues are still going on. Its happening with several carriers now unfortunately. I did get a bunch of messages that came through a bit ago but I can't get back to them all tonight as I don't want to be rude and message late. If you see this and still need an appointment please try and send another message through since it seems to be working better now, and that will help me get through the people that still need me faster. I do still have a few spots open tomorrow for nails so go ahead and send that message. It can be sent at any time as my phone is on do not disturb and it wont bother me, and then i can get right back to you tomorrow. Thanks for your patience, Im sure its wearing thin, as my own is with these phone carriers. The worst part is Im kind of stuck with them until I can pay off the "free" phones they gave me. But im trying to make that happen as soon as possible. As soon as i get the first one paid off soon, I will be going with a different carrier to get rid of these issues. Thanks again!!

I want to pass along some info to everyone that came to light to me recently. One is about Xylitol the fake sugar stuff thats highly toxic to dogs. Well apparently it can be listed under different names. So when reading ingredients on food items you must also look out for these key words "wood sugar" "birch sugar" "birch bark extract ".....all of these are Xylitol!!! So please beware!!

Second, anyone that has struggled with tear and beard stains with their pets might have used distilled as drinking water to clear up these issues. Distilled water works wonderfully to help these issues. The problem is you can NOT give your dog distilled drinking water ONLY, you MUST also give them tap or regular water. Tap water has minerals in it that us and our beloved pets need to make us healthy. Our brains need these minerals to function normally. So if you are using distilled water vets advise that you do distilled water a couple, to a few days a week and regular water the rest of the week.
This will help keep your pets brain and body healthy.

If you have tried to get ahold of me in the past month and did not get a message back, PLEASE text me again! There have been so many issues with several phone carriers lately and its not only affected my business and myself, but it has also affected many many others!! I do not ignore people, so if you never got a response back, please please try again. The phone issues have gotten immensely better, but its still not 100% fixed as I know I'm still not always getting messages and a lot of people haven't gotten all of my messages. I'd hate for anyone to think I'm ignoring them or anything like that, because I truly am not. I am extremely frustrated at these issues and can't wait until everything is completely fixed. Until then, it may take either you, or myself, sending a few messages to ensure they get to delivered!! Hello everyone! If you have seen my previous posts lately, you know there has been issues with the phone and messaging for me and a lot of other people as well. I believe thinhs are getting better, I had a ton of texts come through, but if you still havent heard back from me, please send me another message because i may have tried to message and it may not have gone through. I wanted to let everyone know, that with this phone issue with verizon happening, i had literally 150 messages pop up today. I will be getting through them as fast as i can. But if you still feel your message might not have come through, feel free to send me another. I truly don't mind. Id rather get a bunch of double messages than not get one at all and have anyone thinking Im ignoring them, because I would never do that. Ive spoken with many people today that have also either had these same issues with verizon or know someone that has, so things might be a little difficult until verizon fixes this issue.
