Update on Marvin......
He gets his next treatment tomorrow morning and 🙏🏼THANK YOU🙏🏼 all so much because you have covered the cost of tomorrow's treatment!!! I cried....we have had such a tough time with everything lately and we are just strained in every way and things keep happening and these vet bills are ginormous this year. God doesn't give us anything we can't handle, right? We just keep trying to march on! I think we do see improvement, out vet will access that tomorrow in the morning.
If you would like to help Marvin, here is the info:

Let’s just say that the past couple weeks have been a rollercoaster here on the farm and we are exhausted…..We saved some, lost one, and are treating Marvin, the new Clydesdale, with our equine vet and he would love your prayers and support. He ended up at Purdue University for a few days for multiple tests to find out what was wrong with him. I went out to do chores, and he was coughing, had a temp, and was wobbly on his back legs. While some tests came back negative, we finally had our answer after doing more tests and a spinal tap. Marvin has pneumonia and also contracted EPM (Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis). This is why we DO NOT like opossums!!! This attacks their nervous system and can be awful to watch. However, in catching this in the early stages, the prognosis for a full recovery is much better. I have had a few people ask how they can help, and honestly, I have things under control in the barn at the moment, except the finances, because this has now cost thousands, and we weren’t ready for all that right after purchasing him, but we just want Marvin to get better. He will hopefully have 2 or 3 more treatments, and we will re-evaluate his condition with our vet.
