Say Hello to my sweet Sara girl! Sara has been misunderstood by groomers in her past but here at So Posh, she is loved for who she is! Hers struggles with some anxiety but with the right type of love, patience, and praise she thrives in the salon! I've learned what she needs to feel confident and in control and give her exactly that, after almost two years in the salon, she knows the routine and you might even find her snoozing though some of her groom!
She offers lots of kisses, reassuring me of her love! Her mama as always expressed her appreciation for the love I offer her and I couldn't be more thankful to have have them as part of the So Posh Family! 💜

I've been enjoying my days back in the salon, loving and pampering all my friends!
My heart feels full again and I am looking forward to all the days to come!

I wanted to give an update on some upcoming changes...

💵Price Increase: I pride myself in affordable grooming prices and quality care. However to keep up with the cost of supplies and other operation expenses, I unfortunately have to do a slight price increase of $5-$10 on all services. My prices will still be all inclusive and offer a 1 on 1 grooming experience for your pet! This will take effect October 1st!

💜Loyalty Program: I appreciate your continued support through the last several years and to show my appreciation I've enrolled in a digital loyalty program. After 10 visits, a $10 credit will automatically be applied to your account!

📞Consolidated Communion: I will be narrowing down ways to communicate with clients. The best phone number to reach me at will be 208-213-8777. You can call or text this number but please keep in mind, I will only be available at this number during regular buisness hours. The phone number ending in 5303 will no longer be in service, as of October. I will be unavailable on all other platforms which will direct you to the number above.

💻 New Website: I have launched a new version of my website with an online booking option! Please visit www.soposhpets.com to check it out or book your next appointment!

📝Release Forms: I will be implementing and enforcing release forms to ensure the safety of both your pet and myself. These forms will be sent digitally and required to be signed prior to your pets next appt!

🏠 Rebuild: I am still planning on rebuilding the salon to accommodate my friends more comfortably! This will take place September 28th so stay tuned!:)

Here it is! First Posh Pup of the Week goes to Chucky!!! This boy is one of my most proud earned Trusts!

Chucky was a California rescue who's story is unknown, when his parents first started bringing him to me he had no trust in the human hand. Grooming was a challenge as he was aggressive and quick to react to any touch.
I knew he was just misunderstood and lacked confidence in himself and trust in people.
I provided him with patience and understanding, working at his pace in a calm environment. Each visit we made a little more progress, he became familiar with the surroundings, tools, and more and more comfortable with me.
I am so proud to say he is now 100% a Posh Pro in the salon! Not single nip or resistance in the process. He trust me entirely, his tail wags at my praise and he stands tall with confidence.

His brother, Hero has also grown to trust the process and deserves recognition! He couldn't stand the bath when he first started coming. He'd spend the entire bath frantic and trying to escape the tub. I've worked with him to trust the process and he now happily jumps in the tub and stands perfectly still while he gets his scrubs!

Hercules is also part of the crew and leads by example by always being Posh Perfect! I love my pamper parties with this crew!

Their parents, Jeff and Teanna are wonderful, they own the The Rustic Cherry here in town, selling all sorts of cute handmade gifts! I can't thank you two enough for trusting me to take care of your babies and all your continued support and friendship! 💜

Photo dump of all my fun with friends!! 💜

I won't lie...I'm terrible at social media, with all that I do in a day, it's the last thing on my mind. But I know how much we all love photos and so many of my friends are picture perfect, so forgetting to take the photos isn't the problem, but forgetting to share them 🤦‍♀️😅
With that being said, we can all admit it is one of the most efficient ways to stay connected and I've been thinking...

Most of my friends have been shared and almost all of them are regulars at the salon(Thank you for your loyalty💜) and though, their faces/names have been shared, their stories have not! So many of you have been part of my journey before I was So Posh, many of my friends have grown leaps and bounds in their groom training, and lots of you also contribute to this wonderful community of Emmett!

So I've decided to start featuring a "Posh Pup of the Week" where I will not only share the picture perfect pup but tell you a little bit about them and their impact on my life💜
All of my friends mean the world to me, and photo or not(not all my friends are as willing to say "treats!") They get just as much love and attention as the rest, it's okay to be shy😉
