After much debate we have decided to close our saddle shop doors.

We will be wrapping up the last orders in our shop and will be selling off the equipment.

We are excited to see Shelby head to the Western States Horse Expo and show off her training and liberty work!

With her inputs we designed some awesome tack for starting young horses as well as mature horses.

We love our partnership with SJR Horsemanship, check her out next month in CA at the Western States Horse Expo!

We love working with professional horse and mule trainers.

Professionals who use and provide inputs on our products makes us better, which is carried forward to the saddles and tack we produce.

Shelby from SJR Horsemanship is one of the professionals we love partnering with! Her performance this weekend with Nadine was truly spectacular.

It was amazing to watch these teams compete in the collegiate Road to Horse competition at the Idaho Horse Expo. And, an absolute honor to offer some of our silver bridles and silver spur straps to the 2nd and 3rd place teams!

Congrats on your performances and enjoy a small token from us for your hard work!

If people knew the time and effort that goes into a custom hand built saddle, they would understand not just the love but also the value they get.

Many cant afford a custom new saddle. But many can and still buy multiple saddles trying to find something that works instead of having a tree built to their horse. Its unfortunate most large companies now are production and even some big names are produced outside of america. Even more unfortunate that the art of saddle making is slowly fading away.

Unfortunately, we no longer will be accepting saddle or tack repairs from here on out.

Mini's need pack saddles too! This little sawbuck is headed for a mini mule on the east coast.

Built with heavy harness split to 9oz and stainless roller buckles. Built to the same standards as big saddles.

Just a little bit of snow this morning, 8"-1'. Duke and I worked hard graining horses, breaking ice in water troughs, and clearing the snow off vehicles, while Dan plowed the driveway and our road. Slight malfunction with the tractor, but thankfully it was just a bolt that had backed out, nothing crazy. More snow expected on Wednesday!

When you wake up to 10°...why not mimosas in the saddle shop while you work?? Getting ready for the big storm to hit. Animals fed, ice broke and tank heaters in, and a little drinky drink with some work. We aren't going anywhere for a couple of days! Hope everyone is ready and be safe out there!

**Edited to add: we reached out to the individual and while it appears that impuning our business was not the intent according to them, that is how it came across and perception is everything. We urge everyone to make sure if they are making possibly defaming remarks, they are very clear in their ex*****on.

It came to our attention yesterday that an individual was making statements about our business loosing our website and insurance for carriage services due to not having a specific association training certification.

First, this could not be further from the truth and this individual has no clue nor any right to speak about our business dealings. While our insurance provider did stop covering all equine related insurance acroas the nation, it was not due to not carrying a private association training level, it was due to the amount of equestrians not acting in a safe manner.

While carriage operators are being dropped for unsafe operations, like posting pictures of no one in the carraige while the horse is hitched. They dont drop businesses due to not having a private association level of training. There is no federal or state DOT training requirement here in Idaho for carriage operations. So literally anyone can operate one.

We choose not to renew our insurance and to stop the carraige operations because of numerous reasons this individual is clueless about. Mostly our time and we can only do so much. And honestly we volunteer to the point its absolutely a part time job and sometimes pushes full time in terms of how many hours we commit to.

This individual obviously does not have a clue about who we are, what certifications or training we do or do not poses, and our business operations.

We are members of many organizations including the organization who provides the training being pushed by this individual. And we fully support and promote anyone getting into driving equines take the training whether or not they choose to get "certified" again by a private association.

But, the claims stated by a individual in a public venue are 100% wrong and incorrect. While we understand promoting something for yourself or your own business, speaking about another business or persons incorrectly is just wrong and unethical.

We try hard to promote each and every small business, trainer, and person trying to make their mark in the equine industry here in Idaho. Needless to say, you can't make everyone happy.

This was a fun set of chinks to create. Blue and chocolate sued, twisted fringe, sterling silver, Swarovski Crystals, tooled syringa flowers, and a few other little details thrown in.

One of a kind, fitted specifically to the owner. Stunning to see in person.
