“Guapo” is a 6 yr old 16’2h AQHA gelding, can be registered APHA due to qualify belly spot. He has mainly been shown English but is ready to start his all around career.

He has been started on the horsemanship and going over poles. Guapo is competitive enough to show at the breed shows or at the local level. He’s been on trail rides and ridden by beginners. We had a wonderful first show of the season in Nampa. We had three horses show and all did fantastic with some great rides, wins and learning moments! Congrats to our clients and their horses, we are so proud! And a special congratulations to Ms Nicki Minaj for winning APHA solid paint bred high point!

First show of the season was the Fat And Fuzzy Benefit Show in Spokane and we had many ups and downs. Just about every class was 20+ and we had placings in each class with a huge win for Ms Nicki Minaj and Jessica in the open western pleasure and champion halter with Kim!
This was Joy’s first show in a very long time and she pulled a 5th out of 28!
This was also Kirsten’s first show in a very long time as well with her new 2 yr old and they did wonderful with a 2nd in lunge line!

We decided to shake things up a bit this year and signed up to do the Mustang Mania TIP Challenge. The first two will be trained by me and the little black filly will be trained by one of our youth kids.
All are from the 4-Mile herd that was rounded up just outside of Emmett. We get to pick them up on the 18th of March and will have 100 days to train them for an in hand competition on July 1-3 at the Nampa Idaho Horse Park.
We are so excited for this adventure and can’t wait to see what it brings us. At least one will be offered for your consideration at the end of the competition. We can’t say for sure which one will be available because there is a very big possibility that at least one will capture our hearts and earn a spot in the barn.

I had such a fun time with this guy, he came in pretty nervous so we took our time to make sure he’s comfortable under saddle. I can definitely say that it has paid off, he’s so relaxed under saddle on a loose rein with only two months of riding under his belt. I’m excited to continue to see how he progresses and how his youth rider and him do together, there are only great things ahead. Thank you Jennifer Hair for trusting me with your families boy! He’s so sweet!
