Some fun at the Play day the other day.
It was Brodys first speed event competition.
She has a lot to learn.
Wrangler was being a turkey, but overall they did decent.

Niki was there with Oakley too. :)

Sassy girl did decent today.
She did decide to buck once.. but we warmed her up a little more and then she was fine.

Worked on trotting and turning today.

Brody rode them all ba****ck for a bit.

Photoshoot with My best friend and horse of 23 years..
And his nephew who will be replacing him over the next few years.
That youngster has some huggggge shoes to try and fill.
Trav has been the best horse I have ever owned.
We have done thousands of miles together and I love him so much.
If Arrow can become half the horse Trav has been, I will be happy.

I will miss Trav so much.. I know that our time together is coming to it's end and it's killing me emotionally.
I love you so much buddy. I promise to make the time we have left together.. they best that I can.

Thank you for being the best.. for always being so willing and kind.. for allowing so many people to learn from you and getting to enjoy spending time with you.. thank you for being safe and for loving me.. I could not have asked for a better horse to learn from.

So our day didn't quite go as planned yesterday..
I was going to ride Shayla and Brody was going to ride Wrangler.
But Shy was limping.. so last minute we decided to take Chex out on her first trail ride.
She did awesome!!
She only hopped twice when we first started.
But she did 6.7 miles and worked on steering, backing, speed changes, and hills.
She did awesome!
So excited to see this girl on the trail and at the shows next summer.

I baked a cherry pie and Wrangler won the Jackpot Obstacle Challenge. ♡

Wrangler earning his keep lol We had him help plow the arena for the first time the other day. He got over half of it down before he started losing momentum. I'm pretty proud of him.
