These guys are as sweet as they look. The entire litter has been the friendliest bunch of bunnies EVER, of course having wonderful parents, Bella and Jack Black, doesn't hurt. Purebred, show-worthyHolland Lops. The buns have been ready to get in your arms since first peeking out of the nest. These are the 3 boys... there are 4 girl siblings in matching colors. All are super social and ready for some loving arms to hold and play with them.

Memorial Day Saturday... Cindy Lu's Petting Zoo getting ready to entertain guests at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on the waterfront in downtown San Diego. Luxury digs! Hercules the mini horse, sheep Misty and her lambs, and Sheba our beloved alpaca all stepped up and stepped into the service elevator to go to the 4th floor location. We had a line of kids the entire time. Come see us again on the 3RD AND 4TH OF JULY! (The family day is for registered hotel guests of course, but y'all are welcome to get a room just to come see us!)

Eagle River Reese's Pieces won Champion Nigerian Dwarf Senior Doe in both the Open Show and the Southern California Breeders Show at the Orange County Fair! July 26th. My first win as an owner (rather than Mom of a youth 4-H winner)! Reese's breeder was there to see the wins with a big thumbs up! Thank you Jeannie McIver!

It has taken me a while to be able to report in on this, but some of my most elderly and sweetest animals have gone to heaven in the past 2 weeks. Olive, the Shetland sheep pictured above, is now bounding around in heaven, free of her arthritic and amazingly elderly body. She was an astounding 15-ish years old. Her breeder had been amazed that she was still with us a few months ago. Olive, you will be missed, not just by me, Cindy Lu, but by many people who visited you at the pumpkin patch over the years, or remembered your escapes at school carnivals, leading children on wild chases! Rest in Peace, sweet Olive.............another was 12 year old Candy, who not many knew well, but she was my son's first Nigerian Dwarf show goat, with several youth Grand Champion awards to her credit at the Del Mar and other Fairs. Candy was suffering from a skin cancer............ Finally, beautiful Marie, our 7 year old Holland lop bunny, passed away in my arms after about 6 months of trying to clear her of pneumonia that each winter has brought her the past 2 years. She most recently loved padding around our vast kitchen, and checking in with the dogs as they lay there, touching my pants hem with her nose. I tried everything I could, and she fought a long fight and beat some odds in the process. Bunny kisses, my Marie

Eli Ivey, Manager of Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, enjoys hanging out with Jessie Jane and Peppermint Patty, Nigerian Dwarf goats, part of Cindy Lu's Petting Zoo family. Cindy Lu and animals helped kick off the 2nd Annual "Goat for Joe" golf tournament/fundraiser benefitting NCHS Behavorial Health, Saturday, March 23rd. A great day for the kids AND adults to mingle with our cuddly farm animals and raise some money for a good cause♡♡ (su***de awareness and prevention).

Halloween Fall Festival at New Vision Church in North Park community of San Diego was a hit! We love bringing farm animals to children who have not likely ever seen a goat, sheep, or pig. Very rewarding.
