Alcala Country Pet Resort has been in the hills of Encinitas, California for over 50 years. We’re nestled back away from the city, allowing for a serene environment that is peaceful for humans and animals alike. Our state-of-the-art facility was built with all of your pet’s needs in mind. Your pooch will spend plenty of time playing outside in one of our meticulously maintained yards, which are co

nstantly monitored by a member of our experienced staff to make sure that your pet has the safest, most enjoyable experience possible. At night, your dog will sleep in one of our climate-controlled rooms for a comfortable night’s sleep after a long day of fun. While the majority of our furry guests are dogs, we’re also home to the Kitty Ritz Hotel, your cat’s finest home away from home. All suites have an outside window so your cat can see our beautiful gardens or our wonderful dog park, but the Kitty Ritz Hotel is its own separate, air conditioned building, so you don’t have to worry about your cat actually being around any dogs. We also offer a large activity playroom for our feline visitors to interact with other cats and members of our staff. We also offer world class pet grooming services for cats and dogs of all sizes. Our mission at Alcala Country Pet Resort is to make sure that your pet has the best possible experience when you have to get away.
