Hiring Dog Daycare Specialist!
We are seeking to add team members to welcome dogs and owners arriving for daycare, training, boarding, and grooming; and attend and supervise our dogs in the daycare area
Description
Supervise groups of dogs in the daycare area at all times to ensure a safe environment
Continuously interacting with the dogs with lots of attention and care
Recognize behavioral issues and address proactively in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure daycare areas are continually monitored and kept free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift.
Daily cleaning and sanitizing play equipment, floors, walls and boarding rooms cleaning the walls, floors and beds
Prepare notes of dogs behavior etc. for next shift's kennel technicians
Promptly clean up any bathroom accidents.
Release dogs from daycare in the afternoon
Feed overnight dogs, give occasional medications
Assist in dog training-basic obedience commands (no dog training experience required)
Requirements
A love for the pet care industry
Familiar with dog breeds, and have understanding how to interact with dogs of all sizes
Strong work ethic
Works well under pressure
Team Player
Excellent Communication Skills
Capable of providing detailed reports
Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
Background Check
Full time and part time opportunities
Pay ranges start from $14.50 to $17.00
