Our Thrift Stores generate much needed funding, and all proceeds raised by the sale of donated, quality items support the services, programs and the homeless animals in the care of Suncoast Humane Society. The two stores, located in Englewood and Venice, accept gently used household and other items for re-sale. You will find all sorts of unique treasures, one-of-a-kind knickknacks, furniture, book

s, art, small appliances and many other items at bargain prices. If you have items to donate, please bring them to our thrift stores during hours of operation. We even offer a pick-up and delivery service, for large or large numbers of items. Volunteers are always needed to assist with a variety of fun activities, including sorting, arranging and pricing of items, Volunteer applications are available at Suncoast Humane Society, any of our thrift stores, or by downloading an application from our website. It is our goal to provide value priced, gently used items for our thrift store customers. Our staff and volunteers have assessed the usability of all items recommended for sale. As a non-profit organization we have adopted the following policy:

🚨 URGENT📣 49 pets in our shelter STILL need placement before the storm, let's get them into a home! Can you open your heart and your home? ❤️

Show up today if you can be a foster during this storm! A home is not as scary as a shelter. Crates, food and supplies provided.

REMINDER: All foster pet pickups must be completed by NOON ⏰on Tuesday ahead of Hurricane Milton. Our priority is the safety of these animals—if you’ve signed up to foster, please make sure arrangements are in place.

🚨URGENT: Emergency Fosters Needed!! Our animals need “SHELTER FROM THE STORM”. 🌪

Hurricane Milton is expected to hit on Wednesday! Our shelter is preparing for the storm, and we need your help to evacuate all our animals. Suncoast is in URGENT need of emergency fosters. If you can assist, simply come to the shelter during our regular business hours. Our goal is to clear the shelter before NOON on Tuesday!! 🐾

We know how tempting it is to simply toss things out that we no longer want or utilize to make room for new. The convenience is understandable and Suncoast Humane Society wants you to know that we have a dream team that's willing to come to you!

Did you know that our thrift stores create a substantial portion of our shelter's income? 100% of our profits go straight into keeping our sweet fur-friends safe and healthy. This means that each time you donate to our thrift stores you are helping an animal in need❤️

Furniture, appliances, electronics, clothing, books, athletic gear, and anything else that you are ready to part with we will gladly help you with! If it is in resale condition it could help save a life!
