Does your kitty have itchy ears? Crusty debris? Not only can they have a yeast or bacterial infection, but cats can also have ear mites. They can be very common for outside stray cats but ear mites can become problematic within a multi-cat home as they can be easily spread from one cat to another. It is very rare that dogs can get ear mites, but if an infection is bad enough, they may seek out a canine host. An ear mite infection can be very annoying to a kitty as they are very itchy and can create further problems with the ears if not treated properly. We can find these microscopic critters with an ear swab in our clinic and can be easily treated by cleaning the ears and using either a topical medication or prevented with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention like Revolution. Our Story

Englewood Animal Hospital was started back in the 70’s by Dr. McKenzie, and so the practice has been a staple in the Dayton suburb for many years! Once Drs. Trent and Kelsy Printz purchased the veterinary clinic in 2012, they began slowly growing EAH into the business it is today! From 1 doctor to 3, from 3 support staff members to 15, from 1 building to 2, and now being transitioned to PRINTZ VETERINARY SERVICES, the practice has ceased to slow down!
