Home gardeners, this is your sign to get your garlic in the ground 🧄🌱

Our grower, Margie, just planted her German Extra Hardy garlic from , her go-to supplier. Here’s her method:

1️⃣ Separate the heads into individual cloves.
2️⃣ Plant each clove 4 inches deep and 6 inches apart.
3️⃣ Enrich the soil with compost for extra nutrients.

Why plant now? Fall planting gives garlic time to settle in and build strong roots through the winter. Come June, you’ll be rewarded with your very own fresh garlic bulbs! Have you planted your garlic already? Let us know in the comments 👇🏼

Join us for a New Moon Gathering- An Evening of Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing in our rooftop greenhouse. Lauren and Katie are combining energies and intentions for an evening offering yoga, meditation and sound healing. Come together in community to embrace the energy of the new moon and set intentions for the month ahead!

The Feedery at Grow + Gather is excited to host a special Harvest Dinner collaboration with Chef James Gnizak of Koko Ni. The evening will feature a prix fixe tasting menu crafted from ingredients sourced directly from local partners Esoterra Culinary Garden, Toohey and Sons Organic Family Farm, First Fruits Organic Orchards and our very own outdoor and hydroponic farms at Grow + Gather.

MENU:
Appetizer: Vegetable crudité with dip, Kinship Bakery bread with spread
Salad: Koko Ni bouquet course
Main: Pasta with protein
Dessert: Panna cotta with seasonal fruit

Our friends at are hosting a pickleball tournament on Saturday, September 14th and we want you to join! There will be a silent auction, giveaways, awards, and dinner and drinks. Paddles will be provided to those who need one as well.
