We are open Mon-Fri 7:30AM-6:30PM and with pick ups and drop offs available on Saturdays and Sundays. All breeds are welcome! However, they must satisfactorily pass an evaluation in order for your pup to stay overnight or use our daycare services. The evaluation is just a slow introduction between your pup and some of the other dogs (typically we will start with one of our own dogs) where we keep
an eye on their behavior and actions, and once we feel there is no aggressive behaviors, or that everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves then they have passed. Your pup must play in group with the other dogs in order to stay here, since we unfortunately don't have the resources to keep dogs who don't play in group at the moment but is something we hope to do in the future! We also require your dog to have their rabies, bordetella, and distemper/parvo vaccinations and we will need a copy of those records, in order for them to play. There are three rotations throughout the day (morning, afternoon, and evening) with the duration being between 45min-60min, there is always a handler, or more depending on numbers, in group monitoring and interacting with the pups and watching their behaviors to make sure no bullying, scuffles or anything else happen. Our handlers are experienced and trained in group play and recognizing the behaviors of the dogs: we are NOT trainers, however we do try to work on basic household commands; sit, shake, lay down, stay and gate crashing, as well. Group numbers will not exceed 20 dogs a rotation and there will be multiple handlers watching. We do have a separate play yard to keep dogs under 20lbs in a safer play environment. When the pups are not in group they are resting in their kennels, or eating, if food is provided. We will feed up to three times a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), time for digestion is taken into account for the next rotation; we will give medications, if needed, in pill, powder, or liquid form during business ours (7AM-7PM), we do not give any type of shot. We provide a cot (or blanket/bed or both), a food bowl(unless you use a slow feeder) and water bowl. Please bring their food (enough for their stay and a little extra just in case your plans change or any gets spilled) any medication and/or supplement/vitamin in their original containers. We provide blankets and soft beds here because they can get dirty, messed up or even stolen from under the kennel by a neighbor and we don't want your belongings to get ruined, but if you still would like us to use your belongings we will gladly do so just please keep that in mind.
