FURever Friends Animal Rescue (official 501C3 name is FURever Friends Fund) We are a 501C3 animal shelter and foster home animal rescue.

FURever Friends is located in Enid, Okla. We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue group. Specializing in small/medium dogs.

�This organization is operated by volunteers, we have other full time jobs so we do not have set open hours. We are by appointment only after an application has been approved. �

Occasionally we are able to take in large breed puppies or large breed dogs if a foster home i

s available. We save animals from our local and surrounding shelters. We also save animals off the streets, search for lost pets, take in animals that owners can no longer keep. We are also a sanctuary for geriatric dogs that will live their lives here if they do not get adopted. This page is dedicated to the animals that are available thru FURever Friends. The animals in our program have been seen by a vet, up to date on shots, rabies, de wormed, spayed/neutered (if they are old enough) our vets recommend them to be 4 months before spaying/neutering. Heart worm tested, flea/tick treated. Our program is foster based and ran by volunteers only - none of the funds received are used for administrative duties. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $200 unless otherwise stated. The adoption fee covers the vetting up to the date of adoption. All animals are spayed/neutered, current on shots age appropriate, microchipped, Heartworm checked if old enough, on heartworm / flea prevention. Meet Bubble’s she came to us after her owner became homeless.

Bubbles is a 8-9 year old female long haired dachshund. She is overweight, weighing 30lbs and should be be around 14-18lbs. We will need to get her on a strict diet so she can loose the weight she needs to be healthy.

We are thankful a foster stepped up for her. She will see the vet on Monday and we will know more then. She will need a dental, spayed (if she isn’t) vaccinated, Heartworm tested and she needs to be groomed.

Welcome Bubbles and thanks again for the foster who is caring for her!

I would also like to say letting your dogs become this overweight is not good for their health at all. They don’t need all the treats, table scrapes and stuff. Please think about what you’re doing to their heart, joints and bones. It isn’t cute at all and you are causing them to have health issues and could ultimately cost them their life. Please be responsible.

Adopt Us!!

Ricky - 2-3 year old chihuahua. This little guy has been with us since April with not one application. He is an awesome little guy, with lots of love to share. He loves to play, loves toys, loves other dogs.

Sadie - is a 4-5 month old Labrodoodle/ greyhound mix. She loves to play also and gets along well with other dogs. She has been with us for 3 months let’s get her a home so she doesn’t grow up here.

My worker was at the rescue this evening and someone drove up and basically dumped this cat on my employee and told her he would dump the cat if she didn’t take it.

We are not a cat rescue. We have no place to keep this cat safe. If anyone can give this cat an indoor home. We will try to get donations and get the cat vetted.

Jetter was so happy to see me today, he couldn’t contain his excitement or hold still long enough for a great picture. But you can see how adorable this baby boy is and he has the best personality to match!

Jetter is a 4 month old poodle mix. Weighs maybe 10-12lbs right now. He is fully vetted, including vaccinations, rabies, dewormed, microchipped, neutered, bordetella. He is doing well on house training and uses puppy pads when we aren’t here.

If you want a complete love bug, playful, adorable, happy go lucky puppy. Who loves to be held and loved on, you should get your applications in!

A foster home or foster to adopt home, is what we are looking for. Ruby is a 5.6lb, 8 month old Cavalier/miniature Aussie mix. She won’t get much bigger. This little girl is pre-spoiled, loves, loves people, attention, being held, kids and loves to play with other dogs.

She is house trained if let our appropriately, current on vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped next week. If you’re interested in fostering her or adopt to foster. Please go to our website and complete an application.

‼️‼️ We have been contacted to help 15-20 small breed dogs in a hoarding type situation. All are friendly with other dogs and have been exposed to cats. All are supposedly under 5 years old. ‼️‼️

❌❌ What we need our foster homes so that we can get them out of this situation, vetted and into their furever homes. We can NOT help

We also still have Maizie and Roxy that need new foster homes. Everyone wants them saved but without fosters and support rescues are struggling.

Another great adoption!! Tuckers temp foster was going out of town. So Jim and Carmella stepped up to foster him for a long weekend. Well it was love at first site and they decided he wasn’t going to be just a weekend foster but that he had found his FURever home!

A few months ago Dasher’s owner posted on social media on how much she hated him and how much everyone couldn’t stand the little
Guy. I offered to take him to get him out of that home. Although he is free spirited and sometimes a little ornery he didn’t deserve to be somewhere that he wasn’t wanted.

He’s been a sweet, adventurous little boy, sometimes a little ornery but always so loving to us. He is just an active little boy, always on the go. Last night he finally found his forever home and they are loving him and enjoying his energy.

Congratulations Dasher and thank you to his adopters for giving this boy a forever home!

I sure did miss him this morning! 💙

We have had Willow Rose since June after she was found abandoned on Willow rd in Enid. She has come out of her shell and is so sweet and loving. Sometimes she gets a little startled at attention but does well once she realizes you are only wanting to pet her and hold her.

Willow is around 5 years old, 10-12 pounds and a terrier mix. She loves toys, loves treats,
Loves to play. 🩷

Willow is house trained if let out appropriately, she is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, bordetella, Heartworm

Jetter is all about getting to be held and loved on. He is also all about being a typical happy go lucky puppy! Besides giving you lots of love, he enjoys playing and have a fun time. Such a sweetheart!

He loves people, other dogs, loves toys and like I said he enjoys being loved and held.

Jetter is current on all vaccinations, rabies, neutered, microchipped, bordetella, dewormed, working on house training but does use newspaper when we aren’t here to let them out. He’s a smart biy. Jetter is around 4 months old and some sort of poodle mix we believe.

Sweet baby girl is here. The transporter who does a lot for us and many other rescues asked to name her Midge so that is what this little girls new name is. New name, spa day and a new beginning 🩷 She will have a new start at life and hopefully someone will adopt her that we’ll give her the life she deserves. She needs to be someone’s little princess, pocket purse spoiled girl. Diamonds, pearls and cute dresses! She is covered in fleas, flea poop, she’s matted, her toenails are all matted into her fur which I’m sure isn’t that comfortable to walk on. She is just the sweetest. Wants to be held and cuddled. Luckily we were able to get her into Julie with Precious Paws as an emergency groom. Thank you Julie for all you do for the dogs that come our way. In the comments are some pictures. This girl is tiny maybe 4lbs and I’m going to guess 4-6 years old. It’s hard to tell sometimes when they haven’t been taken care of . Our Story

FURever Friends is located in Enid, Okla. We are a 501C3. Our program is operated by generous supporters, we receive no government funding, grants, we are totally volunteered based, we have no paid employees which allows us to use all donations for the vet care and supplies for our fosters and are new animal shelter. Please support our group by becoming a monthly contributor to help us continue our mission for the voiceless. We can not continue without the support of our community. Every dollar counts and every donation helps us continue to save lives.

FURever Friends has been saving lives since 2010, becoming a 501c3 in 2014. Since then we have saved over 8,000 animals. We save animals from our local and surrounding shelters. We also save animals off the streets, search for lost pets, take in animals that owners can no longer keep. FURever Friends takes in a lot of animals other rescues won’t. Parvo, Heartworm positive cases, neglect & abuse, animals hit by cars, animals with broken limbs, mange, geriatric and many others with medical issues. In 2019 we were able to purchase a building to turn into an animal shelter. The building has allowed us to save more lives holding anywhere between 30-40 beautiful dogs and puppies waiting for their FURever homes.
