FURever Friends Animal Rescue (official 501C3 name is FURever Friends Fund) We are a 501C3 animal shelter and foster home animal rescue.

FURever Friends is located in Enid, Okla. We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue group. Specializing in small/medium dogs.

�This organization is operated by volunteers, we have other full time jobs so we do not have set open hours. We are by appointment only after an application has been approved. �

Occasionally we are able to take in large breed puppies or large breed dogs if a foster home i

s available. We save animals from our local and surrounding shelters. We also save animals off the streets, search for lost pets, take in animals that owners can no longer keep. We are also a sanctuary for geriatric dogs that will live their lives here if they do not get adopted. This page is dedicated to the animals that are available thru FURever Friends. The animals in our program have been seen by a vet, up to date on shots, rabies, de wormed, spayed/neutered (if they are old enough) our vets recommend them to be 4 months before spaying/neutering. Heart worm tested, flea/tick treated. Our program is foster based and ran by volunteers only - none of the funds received are used for administrative duties. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $200 unless otherwise stated. The adoption fee covers the vetting up to the date of adoption. All animals are spayed/neutered, current on shots age appropriate, microchipped, Heartworm checked if old enough, on heartworm / flea prevention. Sometimes things just don’t go the way we hope. Unfortunately Sheldon wasn’t happy in his adoptive home. He was happy to back with his furry friends and was happy to see me today.

At no fault of the adopters or Sheldon, it just wasn’t the right place for him. They were sad it didn’t work but realized they weren’t the right home and that’s ok.

He is loved here, he’s happy to be here. I do know there is a home out there for him. He is such a sweet, deserving, handsome young man.

It would be best for him to be in a home with other dogs and older kids.

If you’re looking for an additon to your family and your dog needs a best friend then please consider giving Sheldon a chance.

He is around 9 months old, 45lbs and house trained and fully vetted.

This year hasn’t started off very well. I wish we could have a do over.

Iris passed away last night and the vet believes she had lung cancer. We thought she had an URI, but her X-rays showed something different. They aggressively treated her over the weekend just in case it was URI or pneumonia but she wasn’t showing any improvement. Another xray showed more spots on her lungs that didn’t indicate pneumonia but cancer.

She passed in her sleep last night at Wheatland. Even though she was only here a short while, she was shown love and care.

I’m sorry Iris we couldn’t save you, sweet girl we love you and will see you some day at the rainbow bridge.

Introducing Tiny again…

Sadly she was returned after almost two years after being adopted, due to her owner going into an assisted living. None of the family members would keep her.

Tiny is a perfect little, quiet chihuahua. She does well on a leash, house trained, does well with other dogs. She loves people and is ready again for a FURever home this time. She is 3-4 years old and around 12lbs.

Tiny is spayed, will be current on vaccinations, Heartworm tested, bordetella and dewormed.

Meet Princess Poppy at just 5 months old her little life has been very unstable, was given away on Facebook and then those people returned her to the people they got her from. Then surrendered to a shelter today. I’m not sure how many times she has been passed around but we want to make sure her next home is her FURever home.

At just 4.8 lbs and 5 months old she probably won’t get much bigger. She’s a tiny little thing, with a big personality. She’s full of life and playfulness. She will make a great little princess for someone that will have the energy and time to give to her .

Princess Poppy will be ready for her FURever home later this week. She will be spayed, microchipped, bordetella, rabies, current on vaccines and dewormed. We haven’t had her long enough to determine if she’s house / crate trained. She is still a pup so make sure that you are ready to have a puppy with all the puppy responsibilities.

❌❌❌Update we are not sure the dog that is at Braums/ElPatio area is Banks or not. Banks could be anywhere he was last seen headed south and east from 705 S Oakwood. We still will go on any leads. Please pray that we can find him and possibly get the other one as well. ❌❌❌

This little guy is from a hoarding situation, he’s only had a name for a month. He doesn’t know yet and probably won’t respond. They had little human interaction. He is timid and I’m sure very scared right now.

Last seen in the area of Braums and ElPation wear Garriott area as of last night around 8pm. Many of us are out looking for him.

Tank is a 3 year old, 33lb French bulldog. This guy is a go getter, always on the go! He does great with other dogs, knows how to use a doggy door. House and crate trained. Will need an active home.

Tank is neutered, microchipped, bordetella, current on vaccinations, rabies, dewormed and will have his nasals done, Heartworm negative and on prevention.

His adoption fee is $325 to help us cover the vetting he has has done.

Puppies!!

Iris’s puppies made it to the rescue today!! They are absolutely adorable, love to be snuggled and held! They will get their first set of vaccines today and checked out by the vet. Santa, Kringle and Claus are here!

I tried several times yesterday to get it on video but all the other dogs kept getting in my way. But Landon likes to smiles at you. It’s so cute! You can see it if watch closely at 3 seconds. Im gonna keep trying to get a longer video of it!

Queenie & Stella

We rescued Queenie and Stella from the Enid Animal Shelter today. Queenie is around 1 year old and 13 lbs and Stella is 4-5 years old and 29lbs. Stella has a little skin condition going on and we will start treatment for that. They both went to Wheatland today and received their vaccines, Heartworm test which thankfully were negative, dewormed, bordetella and are staying to be spayed and microchipped. Stella is very friendly and outgoing. She will make a great addition to any family. Queenie is a little shy but has warmed up quickly. Our Story

FURever Friends is located in Enid, Okla. We are a 501C3. Our program is operated by generous supporters, we receive no government funding, grants, we are totally volunteered based, we have no paid employees which allows us to use all donations for the vet care and supplies for our fosters and are new animal shelter. Please support our group by becoming a monthly contributor to help us continue our mission for the voiceless. We can not continue without the support of our community. Every dollar counts and every donation helps us continue to save lives.

FURever Friends has been saving lives since 2010, becoming a 501c3 in 2014. Since then we have saved over 8,000 animals. We save animals from our local and surrounding shelters. We also save animals off the streets, search for lost pets, take in animals that owners can no longer keep. FURever Friends takes in a lot of animals other rescues won’t. Parvo, Heartworm positive cases, neglect & abuse, animals hit by cars, animals with broken limbs, mange, geriatric and many others with medical issues. In 2019 we were able to purchase a building to turn into an animal shelter. The building has allowed us to save more lives holding anywhere between 30-40 beautiful dogs and puppies waiting for their FURever homes.
