Training takes a little more time and patience when it comes to multi dog households. In order for dogs to respond while together, they must first learn to respond separately.

Sky goes home tomorrow!
I had my daughter give some commands to help Sky learn how to read body language and energy that she's not used to. It's a tiny bit sloppy but amazing for her! Charlie's video will be posted next! (Charlie lives with Sky)
Note* my daughter does have an ecollar remote but an ecollar was NOT on this dog. Sky has done 100% of her training with praise, food, and a long line. I had handed it to her to keep up with while I worked Sky and totally forgot she had it while recording. So don't come at me because I know there will be somebody 🤪
LGD aren't usually known for having obedience. Even though these dogs won't be doing competitions anytime soon, we can still teach them basic skills and show them it's fun to learn.
Sky has been working hard on learning her new commands and responding around distractions. Long line is still attached for extra communication if she needs it! She's learning how to give to leash pressure so we occasionally throw that in, too. These dogs can get pretty butthurt if you ask them things that they think are unfair so keeping sessions short and fun is a must.
