Question!

Would you, as a pet owner, be offended or upset if I told you, respectfully, that your dog truly needed to lose weight??

Here's why I ask,

I have a rescue who I see daily, and I didn't realize he had gotten to big. (BOB). Once it was shown to me, we adjusted food and he's doing much better. I know how it is for people who see their dog daily, they may not realize it, and me being your groomer, would you want/expect me to let you know???

When people ask if I kennel dogs....

My reply "go look at my page, they get my couch, dogs beds, blankets, kids beds, my bed, etc....

I ONLY kennel of the parents request it, so they stay on same routine as at home.

However, dogs here live just as mine do. They run in big backyard, crash where they feel comfortable, have 24/7 access with doggy door, eat with my pack(unless they have food agression), and sleep where they want.

When they are here, they are family.
The scared ones, old ones(my personal favorite), small ones, xlarge ones, social ones, timid ones, hyper ones and lazy ones. All are family and treated as such!

And a free GROOM before they go home!

Those looking for a sitter!!!

Please Please when looking, as for references, ask for photos of yard or do a meet and greet. Also have a tag/apple Tag on your dog incase they get away.

Please watch how your dog interacts when meeting. If a dog is trying to flee, it's not a good fit and for sure when you leave, your dog will find a way out, and someone who doesn't do this as a full time job, won't realize how quickly a dog can escape!

There's been many dogs who have gotten out from other sitters, obviously accidents, but please, if you leave your dog with a friend, sitter, random person who's cheaper, then do at least an apple tag on your dog!!!

Also, make sure the sitter knows how to handle fearful dogs. It takes time to trust them to go outside etc! Lots to it than just "watching your dog" as a side gig. This is a very important job line to be in, and needs to be taken seriously!!!!

Better safe than sorry!!!!!
