Heat can be incredibly dangerous for dogs. If they are panting hard, drooling excessively or losing coordination there is a chance your dog is going into heat stroke. Immediately bring your dog inside the air conditioning, pour cool (not ice cold) water over them and take them directly to an emergency veterinary clinic. Heat stroke can be fatal and can come on very quickly, so it’s best not to take chances.

🎉 Welcome, Dr. Emily Kahlert! 🐾

With great excitement we officially welcome Emily Kahlert, DVM, to our veterinary family at Enon Veterinary Hospital and Northside Veterinary Clinic! Some of you might recognize her as she grew up in Enon and has been a face at our practice before!

Starting June 2, Dr. Kahlert will be available for large animal farm visits and will also be working in-clinic to care for your small animal companions.

Her love and dedication to both small and large animal medicine makes her a wonderful addition to our team, and we can’t wait for you to meet her if you have not already!

Help us give her a warm welcome if you see her around the clinic or out on the road! 🐶🐱🐮🐐🐷
