Move over Paso Finos, there is a new “wild” girl coming soon to Cedar Lane - “Leather and Lace aka Stevie”, a Chincoteague filly that made the annual swim yesterday with approximately 150 other wild ponies that live on Assateague Island.

We are so blessed to have the wonderful clients/friends that make up the Cedar Lane family. I am forever grateful for the support you all have and also grateful for the amazing horses that you entrust to my care and training (Mark McEntire, Mayes & Amy McEntire, Mike & Penny Taylor, Michele Bowden, Challis Surles, Eddie Rodgers, Mickey & Debbie Evans, Scarlett Hawkins, Josh & Catherine Hill). When I think back to the all of the victories of the show, I am particularly proud of my Amateur and Youth riders (Penny Taylor, Abby Laney, Michele Bowden, Grey Rodgers, Savannah Williams, Scarlett Hawkins, Viviana Hawkins Laney McEntire, Riley McEntire, Evy McEntire, Kennadi Whitaker, & Christy White) who all rode amazingly and certainly make me feel honored that they are a part of our team! SkyHawks Aristotle is now being offered for purchase. This stunning chesnut 7 year old gelding is a National Performance Champion. He is the son of Multi-GNC, Ruckus Farm Bucephalus, and is out of the famous GNC mare, Brigitte. Aristotle is always in the top ribbons at the shows and is also a fun, bold ride on the trail. After 14 National Champion class wins, 4 Grand National Championships, 3 Reserve Championships, 3 Third Grand Championships, 2 Reserve Grand Championships, and a Fourth Grand Championship, the 2022 Grand Nationals is complete and the Cedar Lane Paso Finos are safely home.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful clients that are not only clients but wonderful friends that make up the Cedar Lane Family! I am so thankful for them all and for their trust in me with their amazing horses.

We are so proud of our little mare, Muneca - number 5 on the Paso Fino Horse Association 2021 Top Ten Dams list. Muneca’s son, Kristiano del Cedro - bred at Cedar Lane, single-handedly put her on the list! Congratulations to Kristiano’s owners, David and Mindy Ashley and also to his trainer Luis “Bebe” Figueroa for campaigning this exceptional gelding to Number 1 Top Ten Gelding!

Also, we would like to give a shout out to Ruckus Farms Bucephalus, number 9 on the Top Ten Stallions list! Bucephalus is the all-time King 👑 of the PFHA Pleasure show ring! Multi-national and Grand National Champion, owned by Scarlett Hawkins.

Donatello de United is a beautiful 6 yr old gelding with an extensive show career. He is a son of Sublime de Dona Lola and out of a Tormento daughter. Sonadora was National and Grand National Champion in Performance Sub-Junior and also Champion and Grand in Equitation Junior.
