Good morning!!! I have some very exciting news. As many of you know, my husband and I had been planning to relocate sometime within the next year and as such I had been cutting back on my grooming availability in preparation for the move. Well, we've decided to stick around here for the foreseeable future! As a result, I have decided to continue with grooming and have opened up a few more appointment slots. I am now accepting new clients under 40 lbs. I do require that clients stay on a rotating schedule of 4, 6 or 8 weeks (to be determined by the individual dogs needs). I can be reached at (334) 447-9399. Texting is preferred as it is usually the most efficient way for me to communicate.

Good morning everyone and Happy Mothers Day! First and foremost, I want to give a huge thank you to each and every one of you that has supported me and my family over the years. You guys are amazing! Between multiple relocations, staffing upheavals, Katie's diagnosis, surgery and recovery period, all of my scheduling screw ups and other bumps in the road...you remained loyal, supportive and kind. Many of you have reached out personally and offered a shoulder to cry on, encouragement, and gave me strength when all I wanted to do was pull the covers over my head and quit. A few of you even helped me when I was overwhelmed and struggling with homework while finishing my degree. Thank you just doesn't cover it.

Many of you know that with Katie's move, my husband and I have changed our goals for our future. While we are excited about pursuing those goals and what the future holds for us as empty nesters, it's also all very bittersweet. At some point yet to be determined, I will have to say good bye to Katie's Pampered Pets and the relationships we have built over the years. It will be a transition for all of us, but please be assured I will do everything in my power to make the transition as easy as possible. This is the beginning of that transition.

I am not ready to close the doors and say good bye just yet, but I will be reducing availability from 5 days a week to 3 as of June. Many of my clients have relocated, dogs have sadly passed on. Because you guys are such rockstars and book out for the year, my schedule now has large gaps. Due to our family goals and lives changing, I have opted to not take on new clients to fill those gaps. Instead, I will be consolidating the schedule to 3 days a week (Thurs-Sat) as of June. I am no longer accepting new clients. In the next few days, I will be reaching out to each of you concerning your dogs schedule. I understand that this may be inconvenient or may conflict with your schedules, and for that I apologize but it's a change I must make if I am going to be able to work towards personal goals. I can refer you to another fantastic groomer here in town if you'd like.

Once again, thank you all for the patience, compassion and love that you have shown me and my family over the years. And thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your lives and for allowing me the to come to know and love your pups.

As we enter 2023, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about some changes to the scheduling. As many of you already know, Katie is no longer working with me. She will be moving with her new husband Mason later in January. January will be a very busy time for our family as he graduates flight school and they leave for Georgia. I have just about completed next year's schedule and have sent out texts. Current clients, if you have not received a text and either should have or you would like to be placed in the rotation, please send me a text. Space is extremely limited at this point.

I've also had to make some very difficult choices in cutting back on my schedule. Please know that this was not an easy decision to make as I have grown very attached to all of you and your dogs. I simply cannot physically keep up without doing a disservice to you or your pups. I pride myself on building a bond with each and every dog I groom, I can't do that if I'm rushing through grooms and packing the schedule. I am currently not accepting new clients as I adjust to working alone and having my only child and partner move away. We've also grown quite fond of Mason and not having them around all the time will be a difficult adjustment. Please be patient with me in the coming months. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy and safe New Year.

Good morning!!! If you've called or messaged about grooming in the past 2 weeks or so and I haven't gotten back to you, I am very sorry! I have been insanely busy these past few weeks with both work and personal issues. Most of you know that on top of the normal holiday insanity, Katie is no longer working with us and will be moving out of state with her new husband soon. You may still see her pop into the shop here and there, but I am now flying solo. This is a huge adjustment for all of us, as she's been my right hand since we opened in 2015. On top of that, my horse colicked and was down for 24 hrs (he's fine now thank goodness) and I had oral surgery last week. Please be patient with me. I am trying my best to get next year's schedule completed as well! Please bear with me...we'll get back on track soon!!!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to touch base with you all as we head into the holiday season. Our schedule is pretty much booked solid into January. What this means is that if you cannot keep your currently scheduled appointment, there is a very high likelihood we will not be able to reschedule your pup until January. If you're not sure of your appointment time or date, just shoot me a text and I'll let you know. We will make our best efforts to send out reminder texts the day before, but keep in mind that those texts are a courtesy. Not receiving a text does not exempt you from your scheduled appointment, nor are they a free pass to cancel within the 24 hr time period. Appointments canceled within 24 hrs of the appointment time are subject to a 25% cancelation fee that must be paid within 72 hrs of the cancelation. Repeated cancelations or no shows may result in removal from the schedule and the loss of the option to pre-book. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but we need advanced notice to try to adjust the schedule. We appreciate each and every one of you and love all of your pups. I hate instituting policies such as this, but unfortunately it's become a necessity so that we can continue to care for your pups.
