On this snoutable Sunday, the kids wanted close-up pictures. They must think I'm one of them. Playing in the dirt makes me look like one of them. Summer's better because I can join them in the pond and mud holes. My life's all about our animals, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The kids love the attention.

Buford, Mr. Piggy,Boots, Dusty and myself tried taking a little nap this afternoon. But all of the other kids wanted to play. They said that the majority wins. So our nap time got cut short.

In just a few weeks, the farrier will arrive. Of the sixteen rescued piggies, twelve to fourteen require hoof care, with some needing it urgently. We'll prioritize the worst cases. Unfortunately, some piggies, over three years old, have never had a trim due to the cancellations because of other care needed. Assistance with the kids' foot and tusk care would be a huge help. Socks went outside for a little bit today and did well. He is still slower than usual. He tries going too hard and fast sometimes. He has no ball and socket in his left leg, but he is tough and is not a quitter. At one point, I was told I needed to put him down, and I told them that is not an option. He gets sore sometimes, but after resting a few days, he is right back to his smiling self. This time it scared me, but he and I got answered prayers.

Good morning from the crew at the Palace. Socks appears to be doing better this morning. He ate his breakfast, went back to bed, and was even putting a little weight on his leg. We are keeping a close eye on him. For the next few days, he will not be going out and playing. Thank you for all of the prayers and support.
