If you have a dog that is afraid of bad weather, thunder, fireworks shooting etc. you should try "dog earmuffs". Our dog Jack (Jack Russel) and Sugar (Lab) are deathly afraid of bad weather and fireworks. We bought them both a pair. They both acted a little uncomfortable when we first put the muffs on them, but the panic and trembling stopped almost instantly. They basically just lay down till we removed the muffs. About $60 dollars from Amazon but money well spent for us. Measure around the head at the ears to get size.
