The water use impact of aquamation is low. The aquamation process for a pet uses less water than an American household uses in a day. The water following an aquamation process is sterile and can be recycled back into the Earth as a nutrient-rich fertilizer.

“My little Trooper, my little chorkie had his neck snapped by a dog I was dog sitting for. I came home and he was still alive so I rushed him to the vet but he died before we arrived.
I was in shock and not thinking straight and asked to have him cremated. It was heart wrenching to bring him home, and when I looked into the bag to grab your letters I found the nose print, fur and paw print that I did not know were there. I crumbled when I saw them but am so grateful.
These are things I definitely would have wanted had I the time to stop and think clearly. You gave me all the things I didn’t know I wanted without me even asking. I wanted to express my gratitude, but also make sure you recognized what you did so you continue to do it in the future.
So if you ever think it’s too much, get tired of doing it, or think nobody pays attention, please reconsider and continue to do what you’re doing. It means a lot to have something you can look at and recognize, to be able to touch the last thing he touched, and to have a bit of his fur just to hold on to.”

💧 Aquamation (aka water cremation) is a water-based process that reduces the remains to dust/ash, and is then returned to the family.
The process produces a third less greenhouse gas than cremation and uses a seventh of the energy.

Aquamation is a water-based process that's an eco-friendly alternative to flame cremation and burial. It uses water instead of fire to return your pet's body back to Mother Nature.

“When you lose a family member, there's not much that makes you feel better because you are hurting. However, when we got the call from the vet that Jack was ready to be picked up, we were pleasantly surprised. We have had our pets cremated before but this time was different.
We received a bag with his ashes in a nice, quality cedar box. I didn't really want to deal with it then so it just sat on the counter for some time. When I finally decided to take it upstairs to my office, I realized there was something else in the bag. It was a paw print set in clay. In the small bag with the paw was a print of his nose. When I opened the bag there was a lock of his hair.
Needless to say, I was in tears again. However, the way this was created and presented by Peaceful Path Pet Cremation was thoughtful, professional and appreciated & will be for years to come. They provide a needed service to pet owners to help us remember our family members at a very difficult time.”

FAQ: Are the Ashes Toxic?
No, the ashes are sterile and completely safe to handle. The resulting ashes of the aquamation primarily consist of minerals like calcium and phosphorus, which are found in bones.

Having been an animal lover all of his life he saw Aquamation as the perfect opportunity to extend his passion by offering animals the same respect in their aftercare as they did in life. He and his wife, Kate Searcy, have 3 boys, a yellow lab named Wink, and 3 cats, "Das Mine" -translation...That's Mine!, Kitty Kitty, and Mini Max. They understand the integral role animals play in peoples lives.
"A pet is not JUST an animal, but a life-long companion that completes your family by becoming a part of it."

The Weber Family
Andy and his wife relocated from Savannah to his wife’s hometown of Enterprise in 2012. Their goal was to raise their two young children in the “Mayberry” atmosphere, surrounded by family and friends. Unfortunately, shortly after the move, they had to put their 14-year-old black lab “Beazer” to sleep. Needless to say, the experience was overwhelming and heart breaking. The Weber’s feel that Pet Aquamation is a great way provide others a more peaceful path for such a difficult decision. The Weber’s currently have 4 cats, Stevie, Leo, CJ, and Poundcake. Because the Weber's are such pet lovers, they also live with “Louie”, a very energetic Boston Terrier.
"Our four legged friends are more than pets to us, they are part of the family".
