Pretty simple.

As we enter this new year, let us all remember that freedom is not free. We must fight for it every day with unrelenting courage, strong determination and steadfast faith. This formula has served us well and rendered us victorious over insurmountable odds in the past, even though we have not had a perfect society.

I encourage each of you to add the following to your New Years pledge... I will strive to love my neighbors as myself and I will love and abide by the principles given to us by our Creator.

If we as a nation can embrace these two ideals just imagine what 2021 could become.
