Thunder Rail Stables, is a family owned and operated, top notch facility, nestled in the base of the Cascade foothills in beautiful Enumclaw, Washington, with a stunning view of Mount Rainier. We offer full care, partial care and self care boarding, lessons and training. Summer camps and birthday parties are offered for the up and coming equine enthusiast! Well maintained facilities include:
60 x

120 indoor arena, 160 x 200 outdoor arena, 60 ft covered round pen, 2 hot water wash racks, individual tack lockers and spacious tack rooms. Heated bathroom with washer and dryer, heated lounge, Wi-Fi, ample parking and trailer turn around, spacious turn outs, 12x12 matted stalls with individual water systems. Owner lives on site.

I hope all kids drop their phones and get a chance to play in a cattle chute. There was so much unintentional learning going on including teamwork, communication , safety, cooperation, but perspective as a cow, had the biggest impact. We are also still building out our county fair including an impressive ferris wheel, carousal, ticket booths, livestock barns, rodeo arena, rides, games, and more!!
I love my job and the things we get to do with kids, and the bonus that I get to do this with Gracie and Addie 🥰

Our Holiday Horse camp was so much fun!
We rode each day, worked hard all 3 days on a snowman scene craft, learned about roping, played games, did some chores and made new friends!

Our Junior Cowboy/Cowgirl camp is next week Dec 26 & 27, 9:00-12:00 ages 5-12

A donkey’s coat is not waterproof like a horse, sooooooo……. Finnegan gets his own tiny shed! He can be sooo cute!

I got a guy if anyone needs a small animal shed built! Mine is made of light weight, leftover, materials found around the barn. It is designed so the wind can pass through it and It’s light weight so I can move it around 😊👍

The barn will be adopting a family from the area for the Holidays again this year. We are working with Enumclaw Youth and Family Service to adopt a family in need of assistance. If you are able to donate to the cause there will be a collection jar at the table to help make their Holidays special this year. There will also be a tree with wish tags if you would like to choose to buy a gift or have us do it for you.

I’ve always felt this might be the coolest thing about the barn. I am thankful that as my children grew up in the barn, they built friendships with other horsemen and women of all ages (2-90) and it helped shape who they are today. There is something very unique and very special about this, that can’t be duplicated. No matter the age, toddlers to seniors, we are all friends.

Some said they are owls and some said doves? I’m not really sure….and then Finnegan strikes again.

We got to give an amazing man named Clark Roberts a birthday gift of horse back riding! Clark has a contagious personality with an outlook on life that is humbling. He has overcome many challenges, lives each day to its fullest and wants others to find and embrace their own abilities and gifts. He is a motivational speaker, author, and owns a business “Ultimate Vision”. Clark lost his vision when he was 24. Horses have always had a special place in his heart and look what we got to be a part of!!
