A petition to add Saturday pump out service is now available for signing at the OKC Admin Trailer. To make this happen, we need a minimum of 25 RVs to show interest.

Please stop by the admin trailer and sign the petition if you would like to see this service added.

1. Add your information on the card
2. Place card in sheet protector
3. Use the blue tape attached to adhere this placard to the back of your RV the morning of the service. (𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧)

By placing this placard on your RV/Trailer you have given OKC permission to charge your card on file (plus the merchant fee) or send an invoice for payment, due before the end of the show.

While it is not required, the owner is recommended to be present for the service. The owner's presence can help to ensure that the service is performed correctly. The owner agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the technician, its employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with the service, whether or not caused by the negligence of the technician, its employees, or agents.

To those of you who were unable to log onto tonight’s AKC 101 Seminar for Show and Specialty Chairs:

There was a major problem for several people. It was a Microsoft TEAMS issue. Guy is sending out the power point and a recording of his presentation early next week. He said he’d send to everyone who emailed him they planned to attend. If you don’t receive it by next week, let me know. I can share what he sends me. Sorry for the issues.

It is a wrap once again. I work with some of the most amazing people in the world. A dog show is put on by a group of individuals who come together to create an event because of their love of dogs. This show is put on by a small number of the OKC membership and a group of Volunteers who donate their time. I will not attempt to name these members and volunteers because if I did I would surely miss some one and I don’t want to do that. Suffice it to say that this group of people is amazing in what they accomplish to provide a dog show that is unsurpassed in the Pacific Northwest. I am so proud of each and everyone of these individuals and, especially during the show, neglect to tell them that. As I type this that group,is already in planning and working on the 2024 shows. There is no break they go directly from the current show into the planning of the next year’s show. This is a dedicated group who just wants to provide you with the best show possible.

This was an especially difficult year for all of us due to the death of Chris Lyden. Everywhere we looked we saw and missed Chris. Many of us put the show on through a veil of tears. We did it and I think Chris is proud of us. Leta Graham stepped up as our Show Chairman this year and between April and August managed to keep us all together and present a show that was pretty seamless in the transition. I am in awe of this show committee and what they were able to present to you in our show this year. I am so very lucky to be president of this club and extremely proud of the shows the working members of the club and the volunteers are able to present to you each year.
