Ember is nursing the puppies a couple times a day for just a few minutes. Sharp, little nails and teeth X's eight doesn't make it super comfortable anymore. We feed the puppies 4 times a day at this age, with the last feeding around 11pm. They get full of energy right after their meals, so fun to watch them play!! It's pretty short lived, maybe ten minutes and then one by one they snuggle down to sleep.
They've started playing!!!!!! So fun!!!
Eyes are opening and they're starting to walk!!!!!!

I've often said the noises that come from the puppies remind me of a newborn baby. Here's a video from this morning. This little guy just woke up and was looking for his Mama and probably breakfast. 😁
Ember is a fantastic mother!!! They don't cry long without her seeking them out and tending to their needs.
Doggie swim shoes are a great idea to protect your kids (and pool liner) from getting scratched, but convincing your dog of that is another story!!! 🤣
