Conestoga Animal Hospital is a privately owned practice that has been serving the community for over 50 years and is looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Technician to our dedicated team.

We are seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician for a full and/or part-time position.

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Radiology
• Laboratory work
• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Client education
• Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

Qualifications

• An ideal candidate should be friendly, efficient, reliable, team oriented, self motivated, capable of multitasking, able to work in a fast paced environment, and has a passion for animals

• Must possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations

• CVT License (Preferred)

Hourly Salary: $16-$20/hr based on experience.
