It's not all vaccines and blood draws around here. Sometimes a real connection is made between two canine souls. So today we honored this in a brief ceremony. Congratulations to Jaxson and Abighail!
Holidays a little too 'ruff' for your pets? We can help!
Ever wonder what goes on behind closed doors here at the Peaceable Kingdom? Well....a whole lot of spoiling your pets does! Little Riley sure knows that! He loves getting rewarded for being a great patient!

Look how big our little Polly is getting! Soon she will be available for adoption into a home of her very own. Her foster mom is doing an amazing job raising this little angel up. Fostering a pet in need is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. It is an opportunity to offer a loving home to a pet when they need it the most, until their forever family comes along. While letting go can be hard, knowing that you gave that pet the ultimate gift of life and love and that you are going to be able to do the same for another deserving pet in need makes all the difference in the world. So today we give a huge shout out to all the foster parents out there! You do an amazing, selfless job and we thank you!
Forget spring, Ruger is ready for SUMMER!!
Mr. Grumpy Gills is Jealous 🐾
So, we have a new resident at PKAH. She is a 4 week old muted calico named Polly! She was found under a shed all alone on Saturday, yelling for food. A staff member took her home (who also adopted our Valentino) for the weekend. Valentino is not too amused! See the video to capture this adorable “sibling” moment.
Polly is not up for adoption currently - but will be in about 4 weeks!
Do you guys remember our sweet Abbey girl we have in our rescue? The scared little girl who could barely lift her head? We’re making improvement!! ❤️❤️🐾🐾
We may be a little biased, but we think we have just the sweetest cats fall into our hands. Valentino, also known as Tino, is a two year old felv/FIV negative kitty who came to us a few weeks ago. He snuck into a lovely person’s garage, and instead of giving him the boot, they asked us for help. We have since neutered, vaccinated and micochipped this sweet boy. Now, he needs a home. Even if it’s a foster home, we would be ecstatic. We would love to get this boy into a home setting just so he can acclimate. A loud and noisy practice isn’t his ideal place 😞 as you can see, he is a little love bug, but he does start out on the shy side. So, who can be Valentino’s valentine? He’s REAL great at giving neck massages! ❤️❤️
