The team had top ten placings in Open Performance Mares, Amateur Showmanship, Level 1 and Level 2 Amateur Trail and WT Western Pleasure. The week included one first place win out of a class of 30 in Amateur Showmanship. Sandhilll Performance Horses Congratulates SH GettingToKnowYou aka “Jules” and owner Kendra Jo Schultz on their performance at the MAQHA Corporate Challenge.
It was a pretty special week with personal best rides and some exciting placings to back it up. The classes were huge, many up to 25-30+. The team in their first year together came out with multiple top 5 and top 10s, even placing as high as 2nd in the L1 amateur trail. They report having some great breakthroughs and exciting glimpses at Jules’ talent this week.

Congratulations to SH America Sweetheart aka Sweetie and owner Tara Wolf on their successful placings at the 2024 MN Corporate Challenge in St Paul Minnesota this past week. They finished 3rd in a very tough Green Non-Pro Showmanship (section 1) Class. Tara and Sweetie also received a top five placing in Rookie Amt HUS as well as top ten placings in WT Horsemanship, L1 Amt Showmanship, and Rookie WT W. Pleasure.

Tara Lage Wolf had exciting news from Missouri River Classic - Open ,APHA, ApHC, AQHA, & PHBA show with Sweetie, aka SH Americasweetheart, got the call to go to Bismark qh show after all winter off, not showing since corporate last July and being rode three times by Jaylyn and two times by Tara in May, she did not disappoint…placed 1st under at least one judge in every class they did, from sms to English, wp and trail and the cherry on the top, she went first and grand under all three judges in every single halter class!!! 12 halter points earned this weekend, including going “champion of champions mares” for the MRC open show (which included apps, paints, palominos and quarter horses) she knew we would enjoy hearing what a fantastic mare we had raised. Now it makes me so happy to hear about how happy a client is with her horse. All we have to say is she has a great mind to be able to do that and you guys feed really really good to pull off Halter. It shows how well put together these horses are that we raise. Congratulations from Sandhill.

"In our first two shows of 2024, Open on Tuesday, known to most as “Walter” has officially achieved his AQHA Open Champion and unofficially his AQHA Amateur Champion.
Walter has been my partner for the last ten years since I purchased him at the Minnesota 50/50 futurity in 2014. He has gone on to become a stellar all around competitor and the horse I have relied on to achieve my goals and had so much fun doing it. I have maintained Walter at home the majority of his life but full time since he was 4 years old and I’m pretty darn proud of that. Our foundation came from my friend Jenna Mickelson who gave Walter all the right buttons and me all the tools to work them and also suggested I work towards this goal. Thank you. . Thanks to Paul and Karen for wintering Walter and all the love he gets. My friends Nichole, Delci, Tara, Lesley, JoDee for cheering for us, filling classes, and prepping for shows and to my family who doesn’t bat an eye when I traipse all over the country to horse shows.
Sandhill performance horses breeds them right and Don’t Give Me No Zip (Buddy) was one of the best. Proud to swing my leg over my red horse every day.

2020 Daughter of Superhorse The Krymsun Kruzer.
Full sister to SH Gettingtoknowyou, over 60 points in halter, pleasure, hus, trail and now amateur owned. To be brutally honest, she did not get the beauty queen genes her sister did. But she was on her way with the hus and all around until she got a soft tissue injury. She is definitely broodmare sound only. What she does have is a wonderful sweet personality and and a people pleasing desire. No this is not your average run of the mill gelding. His sire is a ROM son of Lazy Loper, who was 8th in the Nation in Pleasure Stalions. But the exciting part is his bottom side. SH Time of My Life is a daughter of SH Famous Lil Chip, who has produced over 800 points. But the first foal out of Time of My Life (Baby) was reserve champion at the 3 year old Premiere. Unfortunately I've had to deal with not being able to ride c**ts anymore, and he's seriously on the back burner with no where to go. He's going to be a great companion for whoever takes him.
