Sales Policy for Wanderlust Lops Rabbitry
***Please read before inquiring about buying a rabbit***
Wanderlust Lops sales policy:
We are located in Epsom, NH
Rabbits are sold on a first come first serve basis. We do not do wait lists.
We are now closed Rabbitry. Sorry for any inconvenience but with spike in rabbit illnesses we don't want to expose our rabbits to anything that could possibly be introduced.
Most of our bunnies range from $75 and up depending on the breed and age.
You must be 18 years of age to purchase from our Rabbitry. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parents permission to purchase a rabbit.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any reason at any time.
If we cancel a sale, your deposit will be refunded.
Reserving A Bunny:
Rabbits will not go home before 8 weeks please do not ask it’s for the safety and health of your bunny.
Rabbits can be placed on hold with a 50% non-refundable deposit put down in advance and they must be picked up at 8 weeks old unless plans have been made at the time of deposit. We must receive your deposit through PayPal Family and Friends.
•spoken for means no deposit yet (spoken agreement, you have 24 hours to send a 50% deposit)
•hold means deposit received and that bunny will not be sold to anyone else
If anything should happen to the rabbit you placed a hold on, while still in our care within the 8 weeks we will give you a 100% refund or a replacement of the same value.
We understand that things can happen and circumstances can change if something does come up and you need to wait on bringing your bunny home after you have made a deposit, that deposit can be transferred towards another bunny at a later date. If you decide you don't want a bunny after you have made the deposit, you will lose your deposit.
Going home:
If you have a balance on your bunny on pick up day it will need to be paid in cash or PayPal.
Please bring the proper cage or carrier to bring your bunny home in.
We will travel to deliver bunnies if arranged ahead of time for a fee.
If the bunny has not been picked up by the date arranged and we cannot reach you with 48 hours of that date and you have not attempted to contact us the deposit and/or payment will be forfeited and the bunny will be placed back up for sale.
We are not responsible for any bunny once they have left our farm. They will leave our premises healthy, happy and loved and we’d like them to stay that way.
If your bunny becomes sick after bringing it it home please call me and I will try to pinpoint the problem but know it's your responsibility to take it to the vet if it needs care.
We do not guarantee gender or color. To the best of out ability we will decide on both gender and color at 4 weeks and again at 6 and 8 weeks. If the color changes as the bunny gets older or a mistake was made on gender, we apologize but we do both to the best of our abilities.
If you can no longer keep your bunny purchased from Wanderlust Lops:
If you purchase a bunny from us and are not able to continue caring for it for any reason, we ask that the bunny be returned to us! Please check with us before rehoming. We may wish to have the rabbit returned, we request first refusal, if not and you are able to find the bunny a responsible caring home then we are fine with re-homing. I would much rather take the time to find the bunny a new home or keep it here. Please do not bring them to a shelter or advertise them for free it can be dangerous for the bunny. Never ever release a pet rabbit into the wild it will not survive!!
🐇 Things to know before your bunny goes home:
If bunnies are kept outside you will need a cage with a good roof to keep things dry, a wind barrier for winter months. NO DIRECT SUN in the summer months and predator safe cage. No cedar shavings anywhere around your bunny because they are toxic once mixed with urine.
You will need to feed pellets of at least 16% protein, hay and fresh water daily. A sample of their current feed Manna Pro will go home with your bunny to get them started. No treats until 6 months of age and NEVER iceberg lettuce. A list of appropriate bunny treats can be sent home with your bunny just ask! 😊
In case of emergency, do your homework ahead of time and find a vet that treats bunnies, most do not!
