We use a state of the art ultrasound for pregnancy checking, and have a large indoor OB room for calving difficulties. We are located 6 miles west of Ericson, NE on Hwy 91. 1 miles north of the highway and 1/4 mile east. We have indoor facilities for cattle obstetrics as well as a processing center with hydraulic chute for larger groups. We also have a portable hydraulic chute available for farm c

alls. A few of our cattle services include:

*Full service over the counter products

Taught Animal Safety to some great kids yesterday at Farm Safety Day in Ord. Such a nice event, and hopefully they all learned a little something! Had 2 pretty good little helpers that enjoyed acting out angry bulls and how to get away 😂

2nd calver came in with a cervical prolapse and straining profusely. Was able to caeserean a spunky little baby that was up and standing within 5 minutes 💙

Sunday morning C-section....Unfortunately, this calf had a rare genetic defect referred to as Schistosomus Reflexis. It is a fatal condition in which the spine is fused in an inverted position and no abdominal wall forms. This particular case was a bit extreme in that the legs were very malformed as well. The heifer handled it well, and may still be gaining a baby because...

On a happier note, we immediately followed up with delivering a set of healthy twins 🐮🐮
