Sometimes a cancellation means I get to go steal one of my shelter favs for a little spa day. I know I’m not the only crazy pitbull person out there but if anyone is looking for a very goofy and good natured girlie this is Dior! She’s good with dogs, kids, and any humans she meets. She also is only 11 months and wants everyone to know that all she wants for her first birthday is a family of her own to snuggle (she also said a slice of cake wouldn’t hurt either) 🎂

Someone recently asked me “What’s something you do that your clients wouldn’t know about?” My answer was easy.. every dog gets a nickname 😂 Often times it’s similar to their name sometimes it’s very random. I also catch myself singing to dogs while I’m grooming them so if your dog comes home exhausted it’s probably partly from listening to me serenade them for a couple of hours… I’d be tired too.

Drop your pets name and I can tell you what their nickname is when they’re here!

If you are anything like me, you love to take your pups out as often as you can and that includes swimming. Algae blooms are unfortunately back again and they’re very harmful to dogs.

Good afternoon everyone!

Just wanted to give an update and let everyone know that there’s been a $3 increase on all haircuts. Bath prices are staying the same. If there’s any confusion, our website has updated prices (I will add a link below).

Also wanted to add that I am no longer taking new clients at this time. I will reconsider closer to summer time if it slows down. I appreciate all of my clients but want to give my regulars a fair shot at booking appointments sooner rather than later.

Thanks again to the community for the outpouring support, not only for the salon but for the shelter as well. I couldn’t and wouldn’t do and love my job without all of you 🐾 ✂️

Merry Christmas everyone!!! This year I have felt so appreciated (which is always the greatest gift) because of all of my lovely clients and their sweet fur babies. I wanted to say thank you again for all of the extra love, cards, gifts, goodies, and tips. I truly have the best clients and you guys and your pets make me enjoy what I do more than you’ll ever know. Everybody stay safe and give your fur babies a little squeeze today from me 🎅🏼🎄🎁

Bad news is that because of this I will no longer be accepting new clients this holiday season. ***Tomorrow I will be offering discounted walk in nail trims (cats/dogs/small mammals) and nail grinding from 9AM to 1PM***

Nail trim: $10 (originally $15)
Nail grind: $15 (originally $20)
Nail painting: $5 (red, baby pink, or hot pink)
Teeth brushing: $5 (originally $10)

No appointments necessary, just come on in.
If you are a new client and your pet has never been in I will just need to see proof of an updated rabies vaccine.

Part of the reason I decided to groom for the Erie Humane Society is because I wanted to help the dogs in need at the shelter. I love all dogs (obviously) but shelter pets tug on my heart strings just a little bit extra. So thank you to not only everyone who has ever adopted, but thank you to all the clients who come get their dogs groomed because by doing so you are also helping all the homeless shelter pets at the Humane Society.

Good morning lovelies, I hope everyone is enjoying their week! I just wanted to post an update to our policies.

•No shows/cancellations: I understand that things come up. If you need to cancel an appointment I just ask that you let me know PRIOR to your appointment. All no show appointments will now require a $20 deposit (per pet) prior to your next scheduled appointment. That $20 can be deducted from your total when you come in but is non refundable if you no show again. If you’re cancelling before your scheduled appointment this does not apply.

•Pick ups: Since the salon is located in our wellness clinic, space is sometimes limited. All pets need to be picked up within the hour that they are finished. There will be be a $5 fee if pets are left past that hour or past closing time. Again, I am reasonable so for example if you are dropping off in the morning and picking up on our lunch break please just let me know ahead of time and we can arrange this.

•Late fees: I schedule appointments accordingly so that pets will have a stress free spa day. If appointments are later than 15 minutes there will be a $5 charge added.

•Tips: I usually wouldn’t include this but so many people ask and get upset when I can’t take card tips. I only take cash. Tips are never expected and definitely not required, but always appreciated.

Thank you all for understanding, and I totally understand that life happens. All I ask is that you talk to me if something comes up or you need to reschedule or if you’re running late.
