Mama Celeste came to us as a stray and surprised us by giving birth in her foster home. At about the same time, we took in 5 abandoned newborn bunnies which Celeste took under her wing as her own. With some assisted feeding by their human nannies, 9 babies are thriving! They are now 10 weeks old and need names. As these teenagers grow, so do our expenses for them. Mama Celeste was a fearful stray rescued by a Good Samaritan. Shortly after arriving at RMHRR, she surprised us with eight babies! Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, four of the smallest ones didn’t make it, but the story doesn’t end there. Days later, she adopted five orphans! Celeste, along with TWELVE dedicated volunteers have been hard at work raising nine baby rabbits! But now, Celeste needs a sponsor!
