Fox and David Bowie!
This week’s featured felines at Pet Supplies Plus - Harborcreek, PA are two of our favorite ginger gents Fox and David Bowie!
Fox was found as a skittish neighborhood stray hiding out in a garage until he met one of our wonderful volunteers who showed him that humans weren’t so bad after all! Soon he was rolling around asking for pets and belly rubs and demanding to be an inside kitty. He has much to say and if you stop to visit him he’ll quickly tell you that you should take him home! He’s a young guy, probably close to 2 years old.
David Bowie was found lost and alone out in rural West County and was clearly not made for life in the wild. He’s a quiet gentle young soul, around 1-2 years old and can’t wait to find a peaceful home where he can snuggle with his loved ones.

Sundays are for snuggles and this beautiful girl is so deserving of them! Mama Bisque, mother of the soup kittens who all have been adopted, has been with us for months now and is waiting patiently for her person to find her. She is not crazy about other kitties and is not her happiest at our adoption center so she spends much of her time relaxing in her condo. We are hoping that she will soon find her home where she can blossom into the amazing sweet girl we know she is. JarJar
There’s never really a time in rescue when you can say that you’ve seen it all. But a cat with a broken glass mason jar stuck on his head is definitely not something you see every day.
Meet JarJar! This handsome gent was found by a good Sam on the side of the road out in rural West County. She reached out to EAN for help and went into action trying to trap him. After two days she was successful and our volunteers were on the case for pickup and transport to EAN. The amazing team at the ANNA Shelter was there for us with medical help to safely remove the jar and assess for injuries. We are happy to report that JarJar did not suffer any major injuries from his experience and has recovered well at our adoption center where he’s been happily enjoying all the good food and treats he can eat and all the snuggling he can handle.
We are thrilled to announce that JarJar is now seeking his happy new beginning in a loving home. He is neutered, combo test negative, and now up to date on vaccines. He’s been doing well around the other kitties and is very easy to please. In fact his only requirement is to be loved and held for as long as you are willing.

It’s toy season at EAN and DikDik and Eland are ready to show off their incredible ball hunting techniques! Stop by during open hours 11-1 Saturday and Sunday. Their expert stalking and pouncing skills will be sure to amaze you!
DIkDik. Named after a small African antelope, is the smallest of his siblings, absolutely gorgeous, and extremely sweet and affectionate. He is a happy, lovable kitten with boundless energy and limitless love to give. And while DikDik may look like an ordinary tabby cat, he has a few unique traits. He may grow to be slightly larger than your average tabby. He also is extremely fast, athletic, intelligent, and has a bit of a wild side. In short, he is an amazing kitty who will need an experienced and knowledgeable adopter, preferably with other kitty playmates and lots of enrichment. Why does he need these? Because DikDik has Savannah cat in his lineage. His mom is an F6 Savannah cat and his dad a street cat. So while he is quite removed from his distant Serval cousin, he still retains a few of the traits, most notably, the high energy. We share this information not to glamorize the breed, but so that potential adopters are aware of his traits. He is absolutely a wonderful, beautiful kitty and will make a loving addition to the right home. Feisty Friday Feline of the Week! Jackie O is friendly, feisty, fiercely affectionate, and just a little fiery. She is a teenage kitten filled with a funny combination of sweet and sassy with a dash of wild child. One minute she’ll be zooming around like the world is on fire and the next she’ll be begging for pets and snuggles, only to swat you away of you’ve petted her for a little too long. She is a cat to her very core and determined to keep you guessing just what she’ll do next. If you are looking for a kitty who will entertain, challenge, and love you every day of her life, Jackie just might be the girl for you. We can’t resist sweet ginger boys and once you meet the adorable Doctor William Watson we know you won’t be able to either! This handsome gent is seeking a happy, quiet forever home after a year of being beat up and bullied by other cats on the East side of Erie. The caretakers that were feeding him did the best they could for him, but he was clearly not suited for life on the streets. Doc Watson is playful, sweet, affectionate, and will make someone a wonderful companion. Due to the abuse he received from other street kitties, he is afraid of other cats so we are seeking a home where he can be the only furry best friend. And your best friend is what he absolutely will be.
