We have exciting news! GPH has a new vet joining the practice very soon! She cares for all species, with a special interest in birds and exotics! We are now booking appointments so call today!

Dr. Kristina Condos, DVM, MS

Born in Southern California and raised in North Texas, Dr. Condos graduated from Texas A&M University with bachelors in biomedical and animal sciences and went on to pursue a masters in veterinary public health. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and went on to practice in West Virginia for several years before transplanting to Erie.
Her professional interests include exotic/wildlife and exotic companion animal medicine, preventative and cooperative medicine, and pain management. She is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), is a Fear Free Certified Professional for cats, dogs, and birds, and is an AAFP Certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian.
Her personal passions include animal rescue, horseback riding, and outdoor exploring. In her free time she enjoys relaxing at home with her 5 cats and 2 rescue dogs (a Basenji and Golden Retriever).

May is Arthritis Awareness Month.

Osteoarthritis is the progressive degeneration of the cartilage in the joints. This can be caused by things such as: obesity, cruciate ligament tears, fractures, or hip dysplasia.

Medications, laser therapy, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, underwater treadmills, and rehab are all treatments for arthritis. These options can be used in different combinations depending on the patient’s needs.

Here at Glenwood, we offer medications, laser therapy, and acupuncture with Dr. Jewell to help keep your fur babies happy!
