I have a black and white pit mix that a Good Samaritan dropped off at our clinic (Animal Hospital of Waterford). She has a bright pink new color. State Police will be picking her up to take her to a shelter. We will update the post once sgr has been picked up.

🌈Deceased Pet Report for 3-3-25

💔Networker Brody reports seeing what appears to be a German Shepherd type dog laying on the north side of the road in Girard right before the bowling alley on West Ridge Road/Rt 20. Not sure how long the pup has been there 🥺 I was unable to stop but the pup is off the road.

**UPDATE: This has been confirmed to be a deceased coyote that resembled a German Shepherd.**

This baby is still missing.

“Sophie” was last seen on 7-6-24 near The Market House at 900 Market Street, Meadville, PA.
SHE (MAY) BE IN THE 200 BLOCK OF POPLAR STREET, MEADVILLE, PA. She is gray with white paws. Hind paws have more white—looks like she has on white knee socks. She has some white on chin, chest, stomach, and a very rosy nose, lips, and mouth. She is a short-haired Tabby, 2-1/2 years old, spayed. Microchipped-take to a Shelter or Vet Clinic for microchip scan.
Reward after proof of Microchip ID.
Call the owner at 814-219-9889 for more information or sightings.

Meet Jen 💜

We are honored to recognize Jen Doust as our Volunteer of the Month for her remarkable dedication and hard work in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our shelter. Jen consistently exceeds expectations by mopping floors, doing laundry, sanitizing surfaces, and changing beddings, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our animals. Furthermore, Jen takes on additional responsibilities, including cleaning litter boxes and caring for our shelter cats, which includes brushing and providing them with attention. Jen also buys cute covers for pillows and sheets for the kitties bunk bed so everything has a homey feeling. Notably, Jen and her husband also foster kittens, demonstrating their commitment to animal care. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Jen for her compassion, reliability, and tireless efforts in caring for our animals. Her contributions are genuinely appreciated and valued. 😻
