🚨UPDATE: This is Athena who had been missing for around two weeks. Her human didn't give up looking and they have been reunited!! ❤
We received a plea for help from a networker who heard a kitty crying for several days in a closed business storage garage in Erie, off Liberty St.
The business is seasonal so staff were not really going in and out often. Our good sam reached the business owner and they looked for the kitty who was MIA. EAN became involved and our team member, Heather, braved the slick roads yesterday and we set a trap. She kept going back to check and was finally successful today. We have a friendly, super skinny and dehydrated kitty who is happy to be safe. We hope maybe she belongs to someone? We are doing fluids and feeding mini meals so she does not get refeeding syndrome.
She is safe if she’s yours. Please contact us ASAP to ID and claim. Otherwise we will proceed with helping an unexpected kitty. ❤️
LOOSE CHICKEN ALERT - EAST 6th Street
Networker Maria reports:
Just saw a chicken or maybe it’s a rooster to be honest I’m not sure because I’m a city girl, crossed E. 6th St. just west of the Bayfront Highway intersection. It’s now on the south side of E. 6th St. headed towards their yards if someone is missing a chicken, and or a rooster!
