Do you remember Ariana?
She has been in foster, where we have been trying to figure out her case. She went to a neurologist, and they said she needed an MRI, but we thought we had the seizures under control. Unfortunately, the seizures came back. Then, they go away for a little bit. But then they come back. When they come back, they are more violent and traumatic each time. So our vet is recommending we do the MRI.
If you are able, please donate towards her care so that we can get the diagnostics she desperately needs.

Kohler Update
Our hit by car on Clear the Shelter day
He was ready. We did a bullet removal and he got neutered. He is in foster and doing so well!!!
We couldn't be any happier with his progress. He deserves this new indoor life beginning. ❤️
Kohler update!
We are pleased to share the most positive news possible. His condition has been stabilized, with no indication of hernia or fractures. While he still requires neurological care for a head injury, his swift improvement is a direct result of your collective support. We thank you for your positive thoughts, donations, and for sharing his journey. Your contributions are making a significant impact. We are overjoyed to confirm that he is expected to make a complete recovery.
At some point in his life, he was shot. It is an old injury and showed up on the x-ray. We are so happy he is off the street away from all of the dangerous situations that come with it.
❤️
We had such a great weekend with clear the shelter but rescue never stops. During our event, we got a call about a kitty that was hit by a car. We knew by the callers tone that this was urgent and he needed us.
Meet Kohler.
He was hit by a car with obvious signs of head and interal trauma. He has head swelling, bleeding behind his eye, possible fractured pelvis, and possible diaphragmatic hernia.
We addresses his pain and bleeding immediately. We were able to do an ultrasound to check on his organs but he goes to the vet first thing this morning to determine the extent of his injuries.
With a construction project, limited available fosters, limited space, and funds always a concern, we knew we still needed to help him.
He is an intact male and we suspect living the stray life. Once we get him through this, he won't have to worry about surviving the streets any longer.
Kohler is now a part of the Orphan Angels family and he has an amazing team of people helping him but we need your help.
He has a long road ahead of him. He could use all the vibes you can send! Due to our medical facility limitations, we are outsourcing to the vet and any donations will go towards his care.
We will continue to update you on his journey.
As our walls come down, emotions flood. We all have great memories within these walls. Blood, sweat, and tears have kept this place going. Dug up SOME memories over the last few years. We truly can't wait to have our remodel with a design dedicated to the cats. But also, they sure did have a great time within these walls when we worked with what we had. We made it work, and I think every cat that came to us appreciates everyones dedication. We sure do!
Erie Gives is in ONE MONTH!
We are kicking off this month with posts showing you who we are.
This is Confused.
She came to us in June of 2022. On arrival, she was neurological and seizing. She has since dealt with chronic diarrhea, refusing to drink, AND FIP.
We knew early on that she was special. Medically, she has required a lot of patience and outside of the box thinking.
As a no kill shelter, we do whatever we need to do. No matter the time or finances. We never give up.
Confused is a perfect example of who Orphan Angels truly is.
As a sanctuary, we have placed her in a long-term foster home where she lives her best live and is now referred to as Connie Francis.
Your donations help kitties like her. We never give up. We give hope to the hopeless.
Your generosity and support help us save the 1%, the round the clock cases, the hopeless.
