Our dog training club (APOTC) had our annual awards dinner yesterday.
The award being presented is called "The Traveling Trophy". It is given to the club member competing in AKC obedience trials during the year who has earned the highest averaged 3 scores (for any eligible obedience class) at AKC obedience trials.

I was the recipient this year competing with my dog Walker. An engraved plate with that information is added each year. I get to keep the trophy this year and will return it at the end of the year.

Congratulations to my dog Walker, a 2-1/2 year old golden retriever, who passed his second hunting retriever test. Teaching retrieving is fun exercise for the dog and also a responsible way to collect your shot game when you hunt.

Private Instruction 1 hour lesson $25 or private 4 lesson discount package available (pay for 3, get 1 free) by appointment. Offered year round – make a list of your dog’s problems, issues and your goals and we’ll get started! Call 814-864-3335 for private instruction appointments.
Puppy Training – start your puppy while he has no bad habits - about 9 weeks old and has had 2 vaccinations

Does your dog have issues? With over 30 years experience with all sorts of breeds, I'm sure I can help. Private and group classes are available for competition, obedience, and Rally.Also instruction in tracking or basic field work for retriever breeds.
