We are a no kill, open admission, 501C3 nonprofit, animal adoption center serving Delta County, MI.

We will be holding holding various fund raising events to generate sufficient funds for our various programs which are designed to help animals and our community.

2024…it’s been a great year for shelter pets! So many amazing homes found and animals saved. Thank you as always to our supportive and loving community for continuing to make what we do possible! Adorable Bunny alert!! ❤️
Litter trained, lovable and looking for a loving home to spoil and love them both together. They come with all supplies and cage set up pictured here. Everything you need 🙌

These two are around 18 months old, very sweet (don't bite) and are now bonded, which means they shouldn't be separated.

Thunder is the grey, Lionhead who is neutered and doesn't mind being held. He loves being fed small amounts of pellets during the day, having a stockpile of hay and a salad at night. His favorites are blueberries and bananas, in small amounts, of course.

Stormie is the black female that hasn't been fixed. She is a tad more shy and would prefer to remain on the ground. If approached slowly, you can pet and pick her up. She likes her chew toys and apple sticks to nibble on.

With them comes a 5'x5' pen and heavy duty waterproof mat to go underneath. They also have a metal water dish and liter box. The rest of their pellets, litter and hay comes with them.

Just a few days after Christmas and our very own little reindeer are looking for families! These sweeties are 10 week old Medium Mixed Breeds and it would make their dreams come true to find new homes for the new year. If you are interested in joining in the reindeer games with a new puppy of you’re very own go check them out on our website under “Available Dogs” and fill out an application! 🐾❤️💚

Will it be Buster's turn soon?! This boy is so smart, and he lives to please his humans. Buster has graduated the Dawgz Adapt (Dogs of the MDOC) program and he knows many commands. He would do great in an active family who will include him in lots of adventures. We sure hope the new year will bring a new family for Buster! 🐾🩵

Belief that a small group of animals lovers could change things for the animals in Delta County, we took over operations of the county run shelter August 15, 2011. We committed to the no-kill philosophy. We care for roughly 100-250 animals per day and rely solely on the generosity of this compassionate community that supports our mission to save them all. Leaders in sheltering, we strive to do better and better. Consider getting involved by volunteering or joining our membership.
