Hey there I'm MJ! I am a spayed female Black and Tan Coonhound who has been aged around 10-11 years old. I came to the shelter as a lost dog and sadly was never picked up. I am such a gentle and sweet older gal who is just looking for a hound loving home to cherish me through my golden years. I am a bit lumpy, and I may not be able to see the best, but I promise if you take a chance on me, you won't regret it. I will make you smile and laugh with my goofy old lady hound boof. Woof...I'm Flash! I am a 1-year-old neutered male Medium Mixed Breed. I came from a really rough start in life so new things can be a bit scary for me. Happy is our last sweet puppy waiting for his family! This boy was born at the shelter and spent the last couple months learning and growing at the Dawgz Adapt program. Belief that a small group of animals lovers could change things for the animals in Delta County, we took over operations of the county run shelter August 15, 2011. We committed to the no-kill philosophy. We care for roughly 100-250 animals per day and rely solely on the generosity of this compassionate community that supports our mission to save them all. Leaders in sheltering, we strive to do better and better. Consider getting involved by volunteering or joining our membership.
