NC American Schutzhund Club’s First trial is in the books. This was a very special trial for so many reasons. I can not even express the amount of gratitude I have for my club members. Thank you for all your support and going on this journey with me.
What a Great time everyone had. Was so fun to give our dogs new challenges in Schutzhund. I hope everyone gives it a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Thank you’s need to go to our Judge Kevin Sheldahl. Thank you for your time and Judging. It was definitely a learning experience for us all! Thank you to our helper Erin Easter, so proud of the helper you have become, your excellent/strong and safe work for all the dogs. Thank you to our “Madam Secretary”, Shauna Syr, we could not have got through this weekend with out you! Thank you to our Training Director Christian Gomez. Your support and excellence in training is a benefit to us all! Thank you to ALL our Club members who all stepped in and helped out and make this trial such a success. So happy to have this experience with all of you. Your simply the best.
Congratulations to Cheri Flores and Baxter, for High in Trial as well as Ob and Protection! Well Done!

Temperament/Environment Test (Only) Teresa with Ziva.
Honorable Mention: Both Valerie with Stella and Mao with Chase scored 99’ s in SW1, unfortunately because of some problems in other phases they were not able to pass that day, but what a very bright future!!
Always a Huge Congratulations to everyone who stepped up to give something new a try, no matter how it turned out, your all great competitors.

After 3 days of hard work, 8 were certified — 5 of which are fully certified, and 3 for the front half!

📍Certification:
This is a certification course. You must successfully navigate and pass this program in order to attain an American Schutzhund Helper Certification. No one will be certified for just attending.
PSA Membership Requirement:
For those wishing to attain their AS Helper Certification, you must have an active PSA membership. Also, anyone working a dog for a certifying helper, must also have an active PSA membership. This is due to insurance requirements. Those who wish to audit, do not need to be active PSA members.

📍Fees:
$150.00 for helpers 3 day event.
