Jasper was abandoned as a malnourished 4-month-old puppy, left with two of his sisters by a breeder who no longer wanted them. He struggled to gain weight, and at just 5 months old, he was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur. Despite his young age, Jasper’s heart was already working overtime to keep him going.

🐾 Today, we mourn the loss of our beloved Leia.💔
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sweet Leia formally known as bambi. For those of you who don't know, Leia was rescued along with her brother from the Shelter euthanasia list after their mother was euthanized for protecting her kids. We later found out that many of the other siblings had passed. They were not 8 weeks old and took mom away before puppies could eat on their own. Luke and Leia were rescued under deplorable conditions from lack of medical and overall care.
We have spent the last week fighting for Leia day and night with constant care around the clock. We had hopes Leia would make it through once she ate on her own for the first time a few days ago. Unfortunately, our hopes were shattered this morning when Leia's tiny body succumbed to her lack of nourishment prior to joining Furballs Furever Rescue. We had performed every test under the sun to determine if there was an illness behind her struggles and all came back negative.
We are devastated by her passing, but we take solace in knowing she experienced love and care in her final days. Thank you to everyone who stood by Leia and supported our rescue. Let's cherish the memories of our sweet fighter forever. Rest in peace, dear Leia. 🕊️ #RememberingLeia #RescueDog #ForeverInOurHearts 🐾

Lots of our dogs are looking for fosters and companionship as they search for their forever homes. Fostering a dog is a great way to make a furry friend without the long commitment that comes with adopting.
Fostering is also able to help give second chances to animals that need it. We just pulled 6 kittens from a shelter who need lots of help to get back on their feet. Your support can help us provide the best care for ill and injured rescues like these kittens.

Mama Snow and her seven dwarfs have all officially been adopted! The whole family will be spending their first Christmas with their new families!
From the streets of TJ being thrown out of a car to the loving, amazing homes, we are so happy and thankful for all of our adopters ,vets, transporters Foster's and foster coordinators, people who donated to snows medical fund everybody Who made this all possible!!
Mama's snow Was thrown from a vehicle with her 7-day-old babies in a suitcase 💔
Since then, all of her babies have been fixed, flea, treated, dewormed, microchipped and adopted by amazing families! Even Mama Snow who had extensive dental surgery where we ended up removing 1️⃣5️⃣ teeth! But she is great and loves going to dog beach with her cheetah spots and her new mom! We're so happy that this whole family found their forever homes!
What a Christmas miracle they do exist! So ecstatic that all seven puppies are doing amazing and have loved the updates with their new names and adventures they've gotten to do 🙂
