Have had a few people reaching out so I just wanted to share the details .
Would you like to have your kiddo help out and get some Volunteer hours ? This might be a good fit for them .
We have around 100 animals here that are all rescue .
When they volunteer they would learn their story , proper care and how they thrive .
They will get dirty and probably sweaty .
Our volunteers work for an hour or 2 at a time .
Important to know , when sun starts to go down , animals go to bed .
This is a dark sky community so no street lights so we wrap up caring for all the animals 15 mins or so before sundown .
This type Volunteer work is a great way for people to learn more about different animals and do hard work , and build confidence.
I personally have 6 kids age 7-18, I have my kids help other kids learn as well as some of our volunteers who have 50 or more hours working with us.
It cost $20k a year to care for the animals , we except donations and sell chicken eggs to help cover cost of their care.
