HexHest Branch White
Our excellent HexNest Beanch White with Substrate and red cover with a young colony of Crematogaster CA02 living in it.
A little video showing how my Myrmacocystus Mexicanus colony is doing. She seems to be a happy little queen and a fairly good size brood going.
Visit my Facebook store or https://www.hexnest.me for the HexNest Formicarium and Foundry chamber.
My other queen who I am very excited for! This queen also has a small number of eggs and at least two larvae to care for. They are much smaller than my M. Mexicanus, but still her colony is growing!
My M. Mexicanus queen. If you look closely, you can see that she has a nice little brood pile going. Some Larvae, a few eggs, and some Pupae. I am VERY excited for this colonys success and growth!
A little update video on our Camponotus CA02 colony living happily in a HexNest Branch formicarium. She has a nice brood pile protected by a LOT of workers, so it's hard to see the brood.
Myrmacocystus Mimicus
A quick little update on my favorite two queens. Secondly, Myrmacocycstus Mimicus. She is not very calm during this keeps running around, picking up her brood, placing it down.
Please mute it. The noise in the background is obnoxious.
Myrmacocystus Mexicanus
A quick little update on my favorite two queens. First off, the Golden Child, Myrmacocycstus Mexicanus. She is very calm during this and if you look to her right, she has a couple piles of brood just hanging out.
Please mute it. The noise in the background is obnoxious.
Greetings everyone! Spent a bit of time putting together something of a product demo/use instruction.
Yes, using HexNest is just this easy. Insert and twist. Done. Seconds!
More non-business.
On the way out, the pilot kindly flew us over the glaciers on Mount Redoubt. This is an ACTIVE volcano and has erupted most recently in 2009.
If you look closely, you see what appears to be streaks and dirt. The dirt is not dirt. It’s ash from the 2009 event. But you can clearly see the direction of flow. And if you look very closely, you can see the blue in the ice. This is VERY old ice and highly compacted, thus the blue color.
Flying over this gives such a sense of the immensity of these natural structures, the power and persistence of nature, and the beauty that is so readily available.
I hope you enjoy this video, and I apologize for switching back and forth. I have not had time to edit this, and the pilot kept swinging across it to give us all a great view.
