There’s a back story with Jax, the one that my son is facing. Almost a year ago, my family and I involuntary adopted another dog or else he was going to be put down for his “aggressive behavior” due to his rescue agency failing him (I have no trust in donation base rescues). He HAD several bite history because he was placed with other humans that were abusing him. No one was able to get near him without getting attacked and bit. Took me 1 week for me to build trust. Took my wife, about 3 months. After that, I made sure to train him to my best ability to be around my son so everyone is safe. Almost a year later, his trust towards humans has been so much better. The point is, we can all heal from our traumas. As long as the work is always being done. Don’t give up on your loved ones. Get training done and save your pups. 🫶🏽

Meet Bentley! He’s also here for the two week board & train to get some structure and obedience installed in him. He runs his household and reacts to everyone that comes to his home. Doesn’t really know how to go on a walk without reacting. Stay tuned for his progress!

This is Toby. Handsome little guy. He’s ready for his 2 weeks of training. Learning how to be chill on walks without reacting. He’s a bit unsure of new environments so we’re going to work on exposure and socializing in populated areas. Confidence and positive reinforcements!

My two board & trains Colby (Left) Chloe (Right) enjoying each other’s presence and relaxing next to the fireplace during this cold rainy day.
At the same time, teaching them duration “place” that gets them to remain in one spot, relaxed in a family room. I have my personal dogs roaming around and playing. Adds some more dog distractions lol.
