As temperatures rise, it's crucial to recognize the signs of heat stroke in our furry friends. Symptoms include excessive panting, drooling, rapid heart rate, and lethargy.
If you notice any of these signs, act quickly! Move your pet to a cooler area, offer water, and contact your vet immediately. If you think your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 410-687-1111!

If your pet goes missing knowing where to turn can make all the difference if your pet goes missing. Below are some valuable local resources to help you reunite with your lost pet quickly:
Baltimore County Animal Services- 410-887-7297 extension 4
Calling veterinary clinics around the area to see if someone dropped off your pet.
Posting in lost pet's social media groups, Lost and Found pets in Baltimore County is a good one that covers an expansive area.

Do you know the signs of dehydration in pets? It's important to recognize the symptoms so you can act quickly.
Dry Gums: Check if your pet's gums are sticky or dry.
Lethargy: Notice any unusual tiredness or lack of energy.
Sunken Eyes: Look for eyes that appear sunken or dull.
Loss of Skin Elasticity: Gently pinch the skin at the back of your pet's neck; if it doesn't quickly return to normal, your pet may be dehydrated.
If you suspect your pet is dehydrated, contact your vet immediately.
