Hello all....... Its been a while as Facebook changed a bunch of things and I could not get on my pages..... That being said I'm back up and on. HOPE everyone had a good bow and gun season. Still December bow going. I filled my tags so feeling pretty good. & point early bow, doe early November plus a small buck and doe gun season. I have an antlerless tag left but not filling it......but will be in the woods helping others figure out how to be successful good luck if your still out there....

Beginning this year, deer hunters are required to report a successful harvest online within 72 hours or before transferring possession of the deer (to another person, a processer or taxidermist). Took them over 20 years of requests and pushing for deer registration......and this is all they come up with........50% will not report their deer...... how will the DNR, NRC control this if they don't know they even got one........ I fought for a proper registration at Monthly NRC meetings for 6 years...... I gave up dealing with them

Good morning all.....crazy weather makes you feel like you should be hunting.....🤣......you still have time to do some shed hunting some will have been chewed on but you can still find some.......bored? ...get out in the woods.....big boots though it's wet....lol

Back to old school....I'll be spending a lot of time researching, studying areas, scouting, and all out chasing deer all season long. Also may start going back to Lansing to rock the DNR and NRC like I use to. Sportsmen need more respect than those two over payed groups give.

Wow I had lost a lot of pics I had of deer, fish, construction and family about 10 years ago. Accidently left a small tote in a storage unit when I cleared it out. Anyways was on my external hard drive found a bunch......wow I was happy......here is a buck I shot bow season 2004 public land Roscommon Michigan......10 point

I wrote this a few years ago for all the DEER HUNTERS thought I would share it now................

A SPECIAL FEELING

The adrenaline starts to flow as fall quietly approaches
and the smell in the air brings home memories of the past.
The heart beats faster as each day goes by so fast.
The anticipation of that misty morning hangs on your every thought. Even as you get older you feel like that that little kid on the night before Christmas, excited and curious, but forced
to wait till that magic moment. Year after
year that feeling never diminished, in
fact it grew within you. This feeling
has passed from your grandfather
to your father and to you. Some
day you will pass it on as well.
Finally the moment comes true.
its time to go but just for a moment
you feel sad as you realize this rush
will not last. As you enter the misty morning
with the dew covered fields of grass
The smell of the big woods in the air, you realize
this is what it is all about and that that in fact that
feeling will come again.................................................

Are you Ready yet? Im cleaning up and prepping my stands as we speak..... got to set up my pop up blinds air them out check them over. Shoot some arrows. Im getting pumped already 30 days till we can set up our stands on state land here in Michigan. Scaffolds, raised platforms, ladders, steps and other devices to assist in climbing a tree cannot be placed on public land any earlier than Sept. 1 and must be removed by March 1 in Michigan.
