My Pet, "Lenny", Black and white Silkie LOVED my cat, Mona. Here he is laying with her as she was dying last year. He joined her at Rainbow Bridge last night 😢😢. Although I'm sad he's gone, I'm glad they are together again.

Because I travel frequently, I breed in Spurts! I can't breed when I'm gone, I don't breed in Summer, and I try to NOT have litters born when I'm gone! More pictures available, thru messages.

Since returning from vacation, I've gotten back to showing piggies. Last week, October 8th in Stevenson WA, #592 Am Satin Black( she needs a name) won RIS under Randy Shumaker. Yesterday, the same sow, #592 won RIS again under Jan Tibbets. And her sister #570 won BIS under Reed Tibbets! Thanks to everyone involved with putting on the Shows, and to the Judge's. :-)

I've had many people asking if I'm still breeding/"in business", and the answer is Yes, kind of. Since my husband retired last March, and wants to "see the world", we travel & Cruise frequently. So I breed such that No Litters are born while I'm gone. I wait to breed, such that litters are born when I'm home. So litters are "due" when I'm home! Of course, some are late and very late. So might be born when I'm gone, this past travel time, I had to hire a "professional" house sitter, she did Terrible! NO pups born alive, ALL DOA, 3 litters worth! And 2 pregnant sows died, with litters inside 😢. So I'm not breeding continually, like I used to. But I'm now Open and breeding in "spurts"! I'll have many litters of pups for re-homing in November & December ( "due" early October).

Picture for attention, this is Jerome, tri-roan Silkie, all ready to go to a Show in Spring of 2020, when None happened due to Covid. He had many, many litters, most are still breeding. He however passed away in August, while I was gone. 😞.
