Dobby the Rottweiler joins us for a two-week board and train confidence boost. Now in his second week, Dobby has made impressive strides. A joy to work with, he is on track for excellence!
Additionally, we welcome Dakota the labrador for our three-week board and train program, focusing on loose leash walking, no jumping or pulling, and manners. She has already demonstrated improvement.

Of late, I have come across several unsettling local dog play videos. Knowing canine body language is vital before permitting them to interact. If you are unsure about their body language, it is advisable not to let them play together. Always prioritize creating a successful environment for dogs rather than exposing them to potential failure. They can quickly become overwhelmed and overstimulated. Identifying the warning signs and promptly removing them from the situation is crucial to avoiding any issues.

Does anyone have an idea on what this body language is saying?

Just want to remind everybody that I will be at Timber Park at noon Today! We will meet by the dog park area at the second parking lot. I will be offering canine, good citizen evaluations, trick Dog, evaluations novice through advance. 20$ per test

I will bring my klimb platforms. We will be working on “place” with distractions, confidence building for those younger puppies, we will also be working on recall with distractions. I also want to go over some focused heel work. Tips and tricks.

Please bring a 15 to 20 foot long lead (I’ll have some. Extra) and high value treats for your dog! We are not doing any Offleash work at this time. Those of you who want to do Offleash work message me privately I will set up a separate time and place.

Remember if there’s anything specific that you’d like to work on with your dog, let me know and we will do that! $20 per dog

You may notice some red spots on your dogs tummy or inside the leg area. These are fly bites they usually go away on their own in a couple of days and are harmless to your dogs.

If you notice your dog has them, just keep an eye on it there’s nothing you can do. If it doesn’t resolve in a couple days then you should have your veterinarian take a look at it.

We are requiring a 2 night minimum on all boarding dogs.

On hot days, we make sure the dogs have fresh cold drinking water, pools in every play yard (filled up daily or as needed) and lots of shade!

We love all the dogs here on the Hill and we appreciate all the dog owners that interest us with their fur babies🐾🐶

Also want to throw in swimming lessons for the dogs at 1 PM. I will bring two lifejackets size large I don’t have any other sizes, so if you’re interested in this, please make sure your dog has a life jacket. Dogs do need to learn how to swim.

Daycare Fun!!

Harley, is our new board and train Doberman puppy that we have here at our facility. When she fist got here a few days ago, we had a hard time leashing her (video made day 1). Mide you, her recall is “decent” meaning that she always came to me when I called her name…BUT when I reached out to put a leash on her she tucked her tail and she ran away! It was very difficult to catch her. If you call your dog to you, you should expect to be able to leash your dog! Right!? Exactly!!! This is one of our end goals with Harley!! We don’t want Harley to be afraid of the leash, so we work with her slowly and constantly, we want her to think of a leash as a positive experience rather then a negative experience. I’m a little over exuberant on my voice with Harley, because #1 she really likes it when I talk to her that way, AND #2 I got a faster result from her body language to come out of her “stressful” situation and come towards the leash my hand. Keep training Positive ALWAYS!!!
