The Basic Obedience Class commencing on January 7th has reached maximum capacity. Our next available Basic Obedience Group class will be held on March 4th. We will also be introducing Intermediate Group Class, Puppy STAR, and Agility for Fun in March. Official class dates will be announced shortly.

What constitutes suitable dog play?

When two dogs are playing energetically together, is it acceptable for one dog to persistently jump on the other dog's back in an attempt to play? Despite the other dog's continued participation due to heightened excitement, the answer is a definitive no. Short while is ok but not when it is consistent and that one dog is ALWAYS on top without role switching.

This type of play is unacceptable and potentially hazardous, and therefore should not be tolerated, as it can rapidly escalate into a negative situation.

You may wonder, "How can I train my dog to avoid this behavior?" The answer is simple, yet requires consistency, dedication, and a time commitment.

Update! SOLD

I have two large double door crates for sale. 30” tall x 42” L x 28” W

$20 each obo

Definitely used, some rusty spots, but still has good life left- I upgraded my crates in the house so time for these to find a new home one is a J Crate brand and the other is Precision Brand - both have pans one pan is cracked, but still in usable.

UPDATE 12/8
Desi has been adopted- Lucy still seeking a home!

Believe it or not Desi and Lucy are still available. 6 mo old puppies seeking a FOREVER HOME! Husky mix

Spayed & Neutered, UTD on all shots including rabies! Crate trained but hate being inside they LOVE the cold!

Very well socialized with other dogs and humans! They’re puppies and they still need training. They have been to my puppy star class graduated. Anybody who adopts them 10% off training for life!

Adoption fee applies and they will be adopted out separately - help me find them a home for Christmas!

Welcome Tucker! This little fluff ball doodle is here for daycare with training! Tucker is only turned out with our balanced trained dogs. Our balanced dogs will teach him how to play appropriately, come when called, and to calm down.

Dogs do not need to jump on other dogs to “play” especially dogs that don’t like it. Tucker does not like that type of play so we will not force him to be in that situation!

Understanding dog psychology is really important for not only dogs developmental learning, prevent behavioral issues later on from bad experiences but to also keep them safe!

This lovely lady is here with us and will be seeking her forever home soon!
She is a well bred 3 year old Doberman female, fantastic temperament/personality, super sweet, not a mean bone in her body!
She has a good foundation- no crazy bad habits that need to be fixed. She will make someone an amazing companion!!
